318BL Stick Cylinder Repacking Job

Nothing on the piston.......this is on the head. What do you make of it? Looks like only a casting #?

There is a floating snubber on the piston end & we left it on, as the nut came off by leaving it in place. Didn't see any numbers on the exposed tip which is fixed. Snubber is retained by a lock ring.

Head is just a casting number- no help.
The photos you posted above look more like the 147-5759 Cylinder Gp which would again make the 096-4430 fibre bushing the correct one for that cylinder.
Sorry I can't be more certain than that.

Parts came in finally............you were right Nige it was #096-4430 bushing.
Since we had no way of torquing it up, we did it the red neck way........marked the nut location to the fixed point down beyond the snubber & tightened to until they looked even.

Lotsa heavy reefing on the 9'+ lg bar & we got it!!

All back together & no leaking.
