I recently bought a used 289D and it has a thick layer of mud under the cab when you lift it, also standing water. Is there a drain somewhere up there that is plugged it is it all supposed to drain towards the rear?

Only thing I'm aware of is a square underbody cover, maybe 12"x12". Sits kind of under the pump area. Drops out from the bottom. I usually remove that for cleaning.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't get under the machine while cleaning but I didn't finally find an oval hole at the front of the machine. Maybe 1" x 2" total, it was totally plugged up, as expected.
