We purchased a '11 SR220 with just at 500 hours. The unit looks pretty clean but checking it over this weekend I noticed the AC belt was running one rib off on the fan pulley and it was falling apart. The engine belt looks it's age also. Can anybody tell me if these can be changed without removing the fan? It looks pretty tight and I'm not sure a person can walk that little AC belt around the fan. I would probably see more if I had somebody remove the metal guard at the top.
With winter coming, I was thinking about just having them cut off the AC belt at least so it doesn't come flying off into the fan causing 2k worth of damages.
