1995 Deere 482c forklift, what type of hydraulic fluid to run, lost manual,

I lost my manual, or misplaced it, I need to put more hydraulic fluid in, what type of fluid, I heard from someone it might 10w40 engine oil.. but need to know for sure

I'm not familiar with the 482C, but if it has a designated hydraulic reservoir a good quality AW hydraulic oil will do just fine, AW32 if your temps are cool, AW46 for higher ambient temps. If the hydraulic reservoir is shared with the transmission, tractor/transmission oil should be used.
