Limestone Quarry – We own and operate a 2,000 acre quarry that produces Sand, Washed Rock and Base Rock for the construction industry. The Quarry has a 8,000,000 ton per year capacity with the latest in automation making it the fastest loading and ticketing Quarry in Southwest Florida.
The main focus of this position is to lead our maintenance team and assist in equipment repairs, maintenance, cost, safety and environmental requirements. As a dragline superintendent it is vital to ensure safety and maintain safety compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.
The duties of 1260 Dragline Superintendent will include:
•Leading our team to ensure proper maintenance is being performed in a timely manor
•Being influential in reducing departmental costs and compliance within the company's budget
•Ensuring scope of works are completed on time and to a high standard
•Lead and maintain the dragline operation
•Performance management and ensuring the team meet the desired outcomes
•Source and analyze data to facilitate management decision making
•Document and log all scheduled and routine maintenance performed on dragline
The requirements for this role are:
•Minimum 5 years dragline operating experience coupled with experience maintaining 1260.
•Strong leadership and management skills in order to achieve maximum team performance
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Mining experience with a strong understanding of dragline operations
•Knowledge of industry practice for mining equipment and technologies
•Ability to plan and coordinate maintenance with support team.
