    IH TD15B Master Track Pin

Thanks for the replies. I was back out at their site yesterday and found that the tracks are stamped BERCO IN 2563. Picture attached. Didn't see a master link. A web search didn't give any results for new track pin. Any ideas?

    PC78 Komatsu problem

If I get the gist it's that you have to reset the LS margin pressure while the machine is operating because the DCV(s) boil down to an orifice size that is machine specific?

    PC78 Komatsu problem

Could you please elaborate on this or provide a link to an explanation. Is this an adjustment that is made to the internals of the pump (in this case a variable displacement axial piston pump with load sense I assume) or the setting of the flow and pressure compensation valves / swash plate...

    Track adjuster won't accept grease

THe guys here have posted earlier that you can pull the retainer clip and unscrew the valve all the way, reinstall the zirk (or grease fitting of other variety) on your test bench and check if grease flows through when it is uninstalled. If not, try cleaning it out with a solvent bath of some...

Electric coming to your transit company?

Sorry i was thinking of the difference between 21700 and 46800 cells

Electric coming to your transit company?

Just FYI it's the same energy density. The numbers of the batteries refer to dimensions. The only difference between the two batteries is a metal tab that improves conductivity.

    Track adjuster won't accept grease

Just to be clear I thought you were pulling the piston out of the cylinder and seeing it pull back to its resting position when you let go. In that case the grease inside the cylinder would have "stretched" and vacuum formed but no air would have gotten in - otherwise there would be no vacuum...

    Track adjuster won't accept grease

Sounds like you're creating a vacuum when pulling out the idler like no air can get in the cylinder while you're pulling. Some kinda blockage going on not that that wasn't already clear just saying

    PC78 Komatsu problem

so would adjusting the pressure compensator to a lower max psi or the swash plate endstop adjustment give the pumps more life?

    Track adjuster won't accept grease

But that's pretty big for a grease zerk isn't it. A 1mm ball would be 10x less surface area

    Track adjuster won't accept grease

Surface area of a sphere is 4pi r^2 so you're off by a couple decimal points. Figure maybe 1/2 the ball is getting grease contact so its ~0.025sqin for a 1/8 ball Edit correct typo

    Track adjuster won't accept grease

Nige is right. I once had a united rentals mechanic install the check valve backwards on a ditch witch and he had the same problem as you.

Thread says Computer Applications so I'll give it a try!

I know this is a old thread but I recommend FreeCAD. I use it to make professional quality cad designs and fabrication drawings. There are a ton of YouTube tutorials. The work flow can be as similar to solidworks or inventor as you want it to. It's kind of a Swiss army knife of a program as my...

    Snorkel TB60

Well, I finished the repair today. Sense line dump valve signal wire from platform had broken in its insulation. I used a spare wire in the same cable to fix it. Took me a while to figure it out - probably longer than it should have. Not used to these machines yet. And I didn't have my good...

GS 2668 RT - lifts very slow

I second that. If you can, check flow through the cylinder. If there is no flow, it may be because of a improperly set relief valve. Here is a service manual: http://manuals.gogenielift.com/Parts%20And%20Service%20Manuals/data/Service/Scissors/52302.pdf
