    Tier III engine in a new truck...

    I can't answer your tier3 question, but I question the weight distribution reality of putting a 2500-3000 gallon tank at the back of the frame, or 10+ feet behind the cab. Sounds like not enough front axle weight to me.

    The 4300 (or 4370 actually) was intended to be a long haul heavy duty truck. The Fleetstar was more of a local or vocational type truck.
