    Deere 650G final drive

I have rebuilt the left hand final drive in my 650g direct drive with the upgraded larger axle. It has eaten the seal out twice since we got it back together in a matter of about 30 minutes each time. Is this likely due to damaged on the axle shaft where the seal sits? The lip was chipped off in...

    650G steering issue

recently replaced the steering clutch band on the right side of my dozer. It would lock the track up when we changed it now it is as if there’s nothing there. The left side is out of adjustment and needs to be replaced now. I’ll be back inside it soon but was wondering if anyone may have a clue...

    D5k vs d6d

Does anyone run a d6d and a D5k? How are they comparable to the amount of work they can each do? Would the 6d just way out preform the 5k? They’re comparable in physical size but the 6d has like 35 or 40 more hp. I am thinking of shearing with a 6d but already own a 5k and would like to know if...

    D6d vs D5k

Does anyone have any thoughts on how a d6d long track preforms compared to a D5k lgp? They seem to have similar weights but the 6d has a lot more horsepower. I already own a D5k and it feels a bit flimsy to my older equipment

    Turning track bushings yourself

Does anyone out there turn their own track bushings? Or am I the only one crazy enough to want to do so? If anyone does so I would love to know what set up is being used and where it was bought, or how it was built. I have been scanning the web and haven’t stumbled across anything yet.

Redigging pond with pull behind scrapper

I clean out several ponds a year and I am curious if anyone has used a large tractor and scraper set up to scrape the muck out instead of pushing all that slop with a dozer. Some feedback would be appreciated!

    D3g RH final drive problem

Serial cfc00589 d3g xl My d3g has recently had an issue with one of the segments coming off and hanging up the Rh track. Once I got that issue resolved, it has now stopped tracking properly. It will track a foot forward and the same in reverse. I busted the chains apart and lifted the machine...

    D5k blade angle issue

my blade angle function just stopped on my d5k this morning serial number yyy01385. I have moved the solenoids to another function and still have nothing. I also removed the valve from the body and flushed some fluid through there to clean it out, as it has been known to stick. I also checked...

    D3g joystick issue

My d3g, serial number cfc589, appears to have what I believe is a joystick problem. The machine will come to an abrupt stop when tracking. You can put the machine back in neutral and then back in gear and it will track again. It may happen every 5 seconds or every couple of minutes. It is...
