    Pride and Glory show

I like the headlight idea. Stacks are just a matter of time, its way too quiet anyway. Stainless would be sick but as much as the truck works would get ruined I'm afraid. Haha I'm pretty sure the only reason the rookie sticks are on there is for a place to hook the hood tarp while at the asphalt...

    Pride and Glory show

This is the first show its ever been to. We haven't done anything to it other than keep it clean. I'd like to hear your ideas as to what you would change. The body is definitely getting repainted but other ideas are still up in the air right now.

SHOW us your dump trucks 6,10,tri, and tractors

Haha well in the case of the truck I posted, I don't drive it too much since I'm away at school, but I know it has the 425hp 3406 and 8LL tranny. I wanna say 46 rears but I'm not sure about the tag or the front. It does have full lockers which is real nice.

A couple pictures of pond work.

Yes, those ponds had sufficient clay present to hold water. I've never had to truck in clay for a pond before, usually before starting a pond you dig a test hole a few feet deep to see what kind of soil you are looking at and also if it fills up and/or holds water. If conditions looked...

What do you think the tow capcity is on this truck?

Looks like that table is only for the gas engines, you would need to look at one that listed the diesel your truck has.

    Cold weather operation

Hopefully someone else who knows more than I do can set us all straight on the situation, but I have always been told not to use the glow plugs for more than 15-20 seconds at a time. Then you would try to crank it. Repeat if necessary. I was under the impression that keeping them on for...

Would you like to live in a house built on this?

What would I do with this type of work? Well.. I'd get a dozer and level it off so the next contractor has a nice level work area to start with.

2 and 1/4 inch nut will not budge

Heat almost always helps in such situations. Heat, then spray with penetrating oil. Repeat. Don't light yourself on fire or blow yourself up. Use your hammer to tap on it like you have been doing. Just keep working it and you should be able to get it free. But hey, there are those times...
