    advice sought on case 590

I was checking out a Komatsu WB140 that's owned by a local contractor and I'm glad I bought a Case... it seemed like a cheap piece of crap to me. I like Case, but I think Cat and Deere are good machines, too. I found this on another forum, thought it was an interesting analysis... "I ran a...

    advice sought on case 590

What's the difference? Mine is 4 spd w/ a shuttle and I've had no problems. yet... Mine is almost 10,000! I may be a bit biased, but I'm very happy with my hoe... As far as I can tell, it's basically the same as a 580, but with bigger/wider tires & wheels, longer outriggers, wider...

    case 580 59$/h

Around here there are guys with brand new hoes, bought outright with profit from previous years. Times are slow now, but a few years ago there was a lot of money to be made. I doubt that guy has a payment to make on his machine... if it is paid for he can afford to work for less money. At...

    QUICK GUYS!! 99 john deere 310e 4x4 ext hoe vs 98 580 super l 4x4 ext hoe

??? So, the Deere is better because that's all you've ever run? I like my 590 SL, but I'm sure they're both good machines. I'd test them both out and see which one you like better!

    I need teeth like this.....

I just received the tooth a few days ago.... I'd all but forgotten about it until I opened up the box. Damn USPS.... 8 months to deliver a tiny box with 1 backhoe tooth in it! No wonder nobody sends anything through the post office anymore!:D Thanks, I really appreciate you going out of...

    Backhoe bucket question

Our footings only need to be 12" deep x 12" wide for a slab floor. On a raised floor, the footings have to be twice as wide as the block, usually they're just dug 18" wide.... Obviously, where I live, the frost line is not quite as deep as it is in Michigan!

    Backhoe bucket question

Where I live, footings for a single story building only need to be 12", and homeowners don't like to buy extra concrete when they don't need it. I prefer a 12" bucket for trenching & french drains.... why dig a wider trench than you need? More dirt to haul off, more gravel to back fill...

    buying out the family business

I think he was trying to say.... His friend wants to be a silent partner. "A silent partner is an investor who provides significant capital but chooses not to become involved in the day-to-day operation of the business. A silent partner is often considered a shareholder, however, so he is...

24" Jaw Bucket for Case backhoe

Made by WainRoy, 24'' - This bucket is in good shape. The last guy welded a new shank on and did a terrible job, but the teeth are new and everything else looks good.... I don't have auxiliary hydraulics, and can't afford to install them, so the bucket needs to go! I really need to get...

    Pictures of your Backhoe!!!!!

They are Ponderosa pine trees, they're nice and straight, but not much good for anything.... I dropped about 12 of them, bucked them up, and used the 4-in-1 to stack them up. I'd never buy another hoe w/out a 4/1 or ex. hoe:D. This hoe is pushing 10,000 hrs  but I haven't had any...

wondering about a 110 John Deere

Why buy a 40 hp machine when you could buy an 80 hp machine for the same price? I'm sure they are great machines, but once you run a fullsize machine it's really hard to go back and run a small machine.... and they are really expensive! Even used ones.

Looking for dump truck best choices

Come to Ca., you can find a decent truck and equipment trailer for 5-10k.... thanks to new smog laws everyone is trying to dump their diesels cheap!

    looking for an equipment trailer

I was thinking it was ok, but then I realized if you take the weight of the trailer into account (not sure how much it weighs?) you're probably still over..... even with 10 - 15% transferred to the truck! 14,000 lbs. axles - 2,500 lbs.(est.) trailer = 11,500 lbs. x 1.10 = 12,650 lbs. max...

Light Duty Trucks & Gooseneck Trailers

27,975 Lbs combined. 95 Mph+ Never got hassled? In Ca speed limit is 55(while towing).... Last time I pulled a car trailer up I-5, I got a ticket for doing 65 MPH. My '02 F-250 could hardly stop itself without a load.... your trailer must have good brakes.
