New Holland DC and Case K model dozers????

Yes and does tilt to the side. The cab tilting procedure is very easy, hydraulic control levers (no hoses have to be disconnected) and throttle are on quick disconnects. Pull bolts that hold the cab and the sweeps and jack it over. I was surprised at how far it tilted over, everything is easy to...

New Holland DC and Case K model dozers????

The only problem I ever had with my 750K was electrical. The thermostat that controlled the compressor and condenser fans went out twice, also replaced the fan speed switch once. Other than that never had a problem with it.

    Leica Rugby 100 problems

Squizzy, I had the same problem with a david white receiver. Called the company and they said to send it to them. A few days later they called and said they were sending a new one, covered under warranty even though it was out of warranty. Pretty stand up company from what I can tell.

D6peg, thanks for heads up on setting the rpm with the toggle switch.

    Fuel consumption on a 6R?

d6peg, Never thought about doing that with the dozer but it makes sense. One question did backing off on your rpms have any effect on your operating temps? During the summer here the R really likes to heat up especially when pushing brush. The series 3 has the hydraulic fan and seems to run...

    Fuel consumption on a 6R?

I would say somewhere around 8-11 gallons an hour depending on what you are doing. Like Constructo said when you hit 10 hours you better be looking for fuel.

    Case 1450B

Neil is there enough room that you put hose clamps around the tube itself? This would stop it from being able to move side to side.

    Teen killed by hot asphalt

Another sad story that just doesn't seem to make sense. STONY MOUNTAIN, Manitoba — A 15-year-old boy working on a construction site just north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, died Friday after he was buried under a mountain of searing-hot asphalt, fire officials said. The boy, too young to work...

    New Holland Dozer

Dirtman, if you are going to be building ponds I suggest a different dozer. You will be wore out by the end of the day trying to maintain speed and direction with the joystick, that is why I sold mine. It is a great machine for finish work but when it comes to cutting and pushing it can get...

    New Holland Dozer

I owned one of those for a few years and never had a problem with it other than the muffler mount kept breaking. Don't let it idle at 800 rpm the cummins really has a vibration at that rpm. It has really good cutting edge visibility and is very agile. The only downside I found was the cost of a...

    Charlotte NC Airport Job Photos

They are going to expand 17 miles of 2 way highway to 4 lanes. They have to go through a small town and will expand that to 5 lanes. The north half of the project is in good ground(farm ground) and the south half is all rock. They have posted the proposed route and some cost estimates but that...

    undercarrige on 650h

I would buy the best undercarriage you can afford. We have used (aftermarket) ITM before on a D6R and it didn't last half as long as CAT undercarriage. The rollers and idlers held up pretty well but the rails were junk, dry links and squeaking in under 1000 hrs. One other thing is that the...
