Case 9050B Boom Pin replacement
Recently bought a 9050B. I believe the boom pin is broken, as one end started backing out. We are going to replace this but the pin is not available from Case. We can get the bushings. The pin is 110mm in diameter and needs to be about 25" long. Can I buy some pin stock and use it to make a...- Ben Myers

Thanks for the welcome. Short answer on that is no, not really. I plan to get some reading material and study up on the basics. I have practiced some with the crane and have a couple small things I’ll probably move first as more practice. -

Case 580 CK Help Wanted
Pull the head and fill the cylinders with kroil, or ATF and acetone mix. Let it sit for a long time. Keep soaking it. I have seen them stuck and been able to free them up by doing this and turning the crank bolt. I have also heard of people soaking them and using a 2x4 to pound on the cylinders... -
