takeuchi 180fr or 175 owners with coupler please help!

Tkoden. It looks as though your curl is similar to mine. It does not curl on tight against the stick. I checked all the linkages and they have no curves in them so upside down is out. I am really surprised by the lack of curl on this excavator compared to my 53fr and every other excavator I...

takeuchi 180fr or 175 owners with coupler please help!

Thanks tkoden any pics you could take of your machine curled in would be great. Are you running a TAG coupler by chance? I am starting to think about looking if the dog bones (after eric12 mentioned) could be extended either custom or by ordering a piece from Takeuchi. I sent them an email so...

takeuchi 180fr or 175 owners with coupler please help!

Thanks eric12 I was looking at the dog bones. The other pin hole makes the situation worse. Design is very poor in my opinion. I cannot think of another excavator that I have run with a worse curl issue.

7-8 Ton Machine Swing or Fixed Boom

That is a bummer about the FR and tier 4. I love my 53FR so much I found a 180FR to go with it, almost like the 53 on steroids really does not feel that much bigger unless you are in a really tight spot. Hope they work out the tier 4 issue would be nice to replace my 53 someday when it has 10k...

    Mclaren Hybrid or other?

Guys- I need new tracks on my Takeuchi TB53FR they are just starting to come apart at 2200 hours ( I was really hoping to reach 3000). I am probably going to go with rubber tracks but I noticed the Mclaren Hybrids and I wanted to know if anyone has any feedback on them. If I don't go with...

How many hours are too many on a mini excavator?

Tak 145 My buddies Tak 145 has 3700 hrs and still runs great. He has only redone the bucket pins on it because he consistently runs a 36inch digging bucket that looks like it belongs on a 170. I am very impressed with his machine and he would have zero problems if he didn't have issues with...
