    New T-Mar Grapple Yarder

Thats a fine looking machine. Good for Sladey. I saw one of their 6280s for sale online recently.

    New T-Mar Grapple Yarder

Didn't a bunch of the 80's go for complete rebuilds around the early 2000's? Probably in need of some lovin' again by now though.

    New T-Mar Grapple Yarder

I wonder what will happen to all the 7280s? They have a pile of them, nice ones too.

    New T-Mar Grapple Yarder

One of my online friends operates Westerns LogChamp 650. He was kind enough to let me share these here. Says it's the best machine on the coast.

    Hyd Rock Breakers

Just wondering what everyone is running for breakers on their hoes. What brands are good and which ones aren't? I've seen Atlas and Sandvik breakers around, would think they would be a good product.

    Kobelco vs Link Belt

Hey guys just a general question. If you had to pick one of the two which would it be and why? Seems like a lot of the guys around here who used to run Kobelco have jumped over to LB in the past couple years. Personally I've never run either but have heard lots of mixed reviews on each. Just...

Looks great Tyson, I'm sure they'll be true blue 124 killers! Are they both still headed to New Zealand or is one staying local?

I didn't know Interfor still had any of their own iron on the harvesting side. I did see Al Atwoods 30 for sale a month back, its an old Interfor machine. You guys are pretty much all 075s for line loaders aren't you?

They must be coming from IPL? They've been purging a lot of iron lately.

I'm not sure about that. For the amount of time, effort and money they spent on it you'd think they would update the engine. You have me curious now too haha.

Here's a couple pictures of 7230 #13. This machine was owned by Edwards and Associates and sat idle on the QCI for years. Holbrook Dyson bought it and had it completely restored by Profix Mechanical in Campbell River. Its great to see contractors spending some money on their machines and...

    Super Snorkels

Thanks for setting me straight. I thought they were trying to sell their Walbran operations and had ceased work there. Its unfortunate either way, but hopefully any of the guys who might get put out of work find good work elsewhere and the equipment does too. Its a real shame but the snorkels...

    Super Snorkels

HDX, hopefully IPLs snorkels will all find good homes. I'd hate to see them get cut up. Any word yet on who would be taking over IPL contracts?
