    Case 1845C anti theft?

That thought had crossed my mind. Your idea looks like a good one. I'll check and see what I can find at the dealer here, but so far my dealing with the local Case dealer has not been very impressive:(

    Case 1845C anti theft?

I have seen guys use shipping containers as well. Might work for the skid. I went ahead and put a switch in the engine compartment. You have to know where you are looking to find it. It just kills the fuel, but I may add a master switch on the battery as well.

    Performance Chips For Ford 550

They will improve you economy and an added bonus you will be able to drive faster as you can get rid of the speed limiter you are hitting currently. (not saying that is a good thing, but..) The only thing is, if you are going to get into tuners and chips I would get a cold air intake, 4"...

    a mixer full of mud

That is why you always see the drum turning even if the truck is empty. Those flat spots are a PITA, especially on a front discharge. We never had one flat spot the ring. Just the rollers, and when the rollers are right behind your head they make a racket if there is a flat spot on them. At...

Ford in Fords not IH 2011

One thing I was reading on the 6.7 Ford was it has a egr bypass for when the motor is warming up. I wonder what would happen if you let it bypass all the time. I know a common mod on the 6.0's is an egr delete. If Ford has designed a bypass there may be no need for a delete. The urea...

    a mixer full of mud

That is what I like about the Drum Jumper. http://www.drumjumper.com/ You can just send out a guy in a pickup which is normally much quicker and easier than another truck. If I was still in the RM business I would either buy one or rig one up myself.

    Battery Options for 753 bobcat

I was never happy with how long batteries were lasting in our equipment until I started using Deka batteries. I dont know the difference, but they stand up to vibration and such better than anything else we tried. Reasonably prices too.

    Cell phones in the cab

I know this is a little off the original topic, but I think a personal phone should be left in the car for the simple fact it cant be used for business. If the boss wants to get a hold of you let him/her give you a phone or radio. I worked for a guy last year that abused the fact that his...

    Losing the Mobile Phone (Cell)

I use verizons backup setup, every night it updates. Haven't needed it yet, but I have lost my phone only to find it in the bottom of the washing machine. It had two missed calls! This is definitely the toughest phone I have ever had.

    Demo'ing the wrong house

I guess I was thinking about the contractors insurance policy. Definitely something I wouldn't want to have to go through.

    Fill dirt "ethics"

You have got to be kidding me. I wouldnt even charge my own mom the materials. You are twisting what the original point was, charging someone more just because they live in a nice house. My point of senior discount as a marketing program was just to put it in perspective. It is no...

    Fill dirt "ethics"

Why do you want to punish success? It is easy to do if you are not the successful one, but does that make it right? It is better to strive to be more successful than to wish ill on the successful to make you feel better. Do you think every successful business man or woman out there just...

    Fill dirt "ethics"

Well Said! How do you some of you guys feel if someone think just because you have some spendy equipment you must be rich and therefore should pay more for something. BTW, I always considered a "senior discount" marketing

    letourneau

LeTourneau University is a great testament to his life. Their motto is Faith brings us together, Ingenuity sets us apart. God was a huge part of his life and was not afraid to let it be known. He believed in giving 10% of his income to ministry, but he did it the other way around. Lived on...

What is the world's most expensive heavy equipment?

I am not that old, but my dad taught me how to use a shovel. It is just amazing how many times I have been working with guys in their early 20's that I have to stop and show them how to use the stupid thing.:Pointhead
