I have d21a6 and all the oil is the same 30w motor oil. The one closest to the brake pedal is the Transmission case, the one under the seat is the transfer bevel gear case, all of them use the 30 weight oil etc maybe with a little difference in temp depending on how cold it gets in your area, I... -

Ms good for you ! I am located n North MS and bought about 10 acres. I have been clearing it with my D21A6 and haven't had to many problems. I repaird the steering clutch, changed all the fluids greased all the fittings and running the heck out of it. It seems to be a reliable cheap to operate... -

Well I think that if you remove the lines it would make access a whole lot easier. I didn't do the job myself but I observed how they did it. they did remove the seat and all the hydraulic lines. It is quite expensive to have someone do it and the parts aren't cheap. -

You'll have to remove that side cover to expose it but it is just below your dipstick towards the drivers seat. I have a pic if you need it. -

The filter is located on the right side of your dozer mounted on the engine close to the dip stick. I think you may have to get a filter from the dealer but not quite sure. The drain plug is under the dozer behind the skid plate. I made it under mine with out lifting it off the ground I just... -
