    D7E (electric) general questions

Thanks Greasy. I am looking at upgrading a D6R III that is starting to act its age. I currently have a D6T with a regen system in operation that has been a pleasure to deal and have been looking at purchasing another, but have been intrigued by a few low hour D7E machines that I could get for...

    D7E (electric) general questions

Based on....? Sorry, not scared of technology that works, trying to find out if this might be able to hold together for production work. I've ran those older models before, much rather operate something newer.

    D7E (electric) general questions

I’ve been considering trying out a D7E for some rough application work, have a few questions for anyone with experience with them. Not anything like pushing hardwood stumps, but perhaps some v-blade work. Stuff that is rough on nose cones and finals. How are the final drives on these machines...

    Deere 750C

You could take it out and head to a local parts store to match it up, about the only other way to do what you are looking for.

    D6T opinions

We run D6R III and D6T tractors, the earlier T machines (pre-regen models) are an upgraded and refined R series III. We have a regen D6T that is a great machine, but the regen system does require attention, cat ET is extremely helpful in such situations. Personally, I would much rather run and...

    D5mxl blade lift issues

Wonder if you are experiencing a problem with your signal resolver network. We had a D6M that the blade would not lift quickly unless you bumped another function, at which point everything worked at proper speed. As soon as you stopped that operation you would have to do the same thing again...

    D6H duo cone seal

Should be less than a ton, it is just the bearing holding it in place, #2 in the pic below.

    D6H duo cone seal

You will have to press the hub off (pretty much just to get the spindle bearing off) but you will not have to press it back on. I'll find some pics and send to you.

    D5MXL Service Codes

http://diagramasde.com/diagramas/otros2/Explicacion de codigos.pdf It's an old overall list, but should be sufficient for a D5M.

Section for komatsu d20,21 and similar grey market dozers

Here is a link to an aftermarket solenoid, perhaps your local Napa can cross it further: https://www.amazon.com/STARTER-SOLENOID-0-47100-3590-0-47100-3592-0-47100-4360/dp/B008XBBZ3O Good luck.

    4x d6d winch fluid

We run 15W40. Should have a plug on the left side sitting in the seat, roughly 10-12" from the bottom of the winch. Remove plug, fill from top until oil reaches the hole. Capacity around 12 gal.

    Large Cat LGP dozers

There are a few D8 LGP's out and about, most of the ones I have seen are near Canada. http://www.machinerytrader.com/listings/construction-equipment/for-sale/list/?Manu=CATERPILLAR&Mdltxt=D8T+LGP

    D6H Hard nose loose

We have had problems with nose cones developing movement on D6 and D8Rs, have not had to have then line bored, just replaced the pins and bushings. With any luck you should have the same experience. Regarding the hard bar we usually have a local machine shop build up the ends, runs under $1k...

Can anyone help with a D6R problem?

Quite correct Nige, I mis-remembered the switch as having only two terminals. Earlier you said that the transmission would engage but the brakes were locked down. Is that what you are trying to say here, or is the transmission locked in neutral?

    randy@rrfabrica

Glanced around and saw someone with an FD40 mention that Kent Baugh Equipment in Texas was able to help them with a service manual. I have never had any dealings with KBE, but hopefully you will find some help there.

Can anyone help with a D6R problem?

Yes Nige, but the switch shouldn't set off the alarm automatically until the pedel is depressed, unless the microswitch is shorted internally or a wire is shorted. The service brake position sensor should not set off the alarm until it is depressed, unless there is a short. It could also be...
