    What do you think?

I am looking at a machine that is coming up for sale, it is a 2005 John Deere 330lc with 5910.4 hrs on it verified. Very clean machine with coupler/thumb and matching bucket/aux hyds. Through a little detective work I was able to track down the last 2 owners both local and very good outfits with...

    Hey Cat Detectives, little help?

I have my eye on this excavator coming up at a local auction. When I first spotted it has a company decal on it, by the time I made it out to inspect the machine it had been removed. I had hoped to contact the company to try to find a little history, if they were willing to share. It does still...

    I swear

that these things are multiplying! I think we need more excavators fighting for a piece of realestate to work in. Mean while I just keep on with my pipe removal.

    Still at it, pipe demo

Add in, low lines, steep slopes, pipe thats still in service, stuff in the way, unstable soil conditions, and a ton of ground water. Its keeping this job interesting. At least were still making foward progress.

    pipe demo

I am on a job where we are removing 2000ft of 72in steel pipe with 1/2in thick wall. In most places its 7ft to the top of pipe. The job site is very conjested with mud and ground water to contend with as well.

    Good news!

Maybe, In the last 2 months I have done 3 jobs that have been private money. Which I thought to be an encouraging sign, and today I actually started clearing for a new subdivsion, for one of our areas major home builders. Have not started a new subdivision in at least 3yrs.

    Old Folsom facelift

The city is doing a major utility and drainage project, that includes new sidewalk curb and gutters. Were doing the removal of the old stuff. Lots of surprises with unknown and unmarked stuff, plus working at nite just makes it that much better!

    rumor confirmed

I have been wrecking a Jewish school in Sacramento, and on the grounds is (was) an old house built by the man who donated the land for the school. He was a Jewish immigrant and vowed to never face capture again so the little windows in the tower were hinged at the bottom to open so they could...

We just wraped up a nice little project. Clearing for line of site and hazard trees, very close quaters with live traffic and utility lines to deal with. Funded by the feds. I hope everything loaded ok, I`m better at running my excavator than this computer!
