Thanks CM, looks like things are going well for you too. Hey AZ, what part of the state are you working in? A lot of your pics look like your in the Fountain Hill area. A little Ca work

It’s been a minute, sorry, things have been busy. Still at it with the 350, it’s a bit of a love hate relationship. Spent a fair amount of time at the Oroville Dam spillway, during the quote crisis stage. Sold a house and built another. The nature of my work has changed a bit due to a change in...

    A little Ca work

It seem like every year at least one stray boat shows up, I always offer free hull inspections. It gets a bit steeper and sketchier as we finish up as that rock is pretty slick. Then its pull the head gates and gather the signs.

Cat 314 track adjuster out of alignment-- what is likely the cause/

I don't know why, I did mainly clearing and demo. But that was 2 in 25.000hrs so I was ok with it, the breaks were on opposite sides. I don't think its any thing to be worried about.

Cat 314 track adjuster out of alignment-- what is likely the cause/

Thank you! Glad I could help. You should be happy with the end result. For me that was always a much scarier issue, than it turned out to be.

Cat 314 track adjuster out of alignment-- what is likely the cause/

That is different than my 330 was, but I still say something on the end of the shaft is broken. When that happened to mine I released the tension once with the bucket and once by crowding against a stump. Where caution is really necessary is on reassembly. Good luck.

Cat 314 track adjuster out of alignment-- what is likely the cause/

There is a big nut that is broke off the end of shaft so nothing is depressing the spring. Look at the other side and you should see the difference.

Thanks glad to be Back. Yeah the JD burns just about twice what the cat did. I guess those 86 extra. horses gotta eat to. I was also involved in some clean up hazard trees after one of the fires last year. I needed a little more reach for some of it.

It's dual purpose, they wanted to make sure no water migrated either way. The machine is doing really well. Spent a good part of the year swinging a 60 inch bucket and it handles it no sweat even stacked with heavy clay. It is thirsty though.

    A little Ca work

I haven't posted in while, because I have been very busy plus my favorite photo sharing site went away. If sharing pics from my phone works I will try to catch up. After the dam demo I hooked up with an outfit that specializes in land fill work. The first chore was installing a big French drain...
