    Sprocket ware

It looks wore out, also looks loose on the housing. It doesn’t have any dirt packed into the seam between the sprocket and the case. I’d be looking for one if it were mine it’s got what looks like one bolt broke off.

how do excavators and dozers keep the oil pickup screen buried in oil on steep slopes?

They have large, deep oil pans, use baffles and the pickup is very close to the pan bottom.

    Lube skid

I run a Y strainer clean out too, diaphragm pumps are tough but it’s insurance against something getting into one of the rubbers and cutting it.

Had an apprentice do that doing a service on a unit I was replacing an axle on. He looked at me when we found it and said “it slid right in. Why would they make it like that?” I just laughed and told him to slow down and make sure how things look before you go ripping.

Used John Deere 160lc leaking bug time

There’s a ton of smoke in the video does the muffler have a leak? It looks like a rear main seal. Not too big a deal to replace. Pumps and flywheel have to come off. If exhaust is leaking it’ll take out the new one

    LB75 won't start???

Check for good power on the starter pos to ground while trying to crank. worked on a bunch and the cables would corrode internally and not start. Could also try jumper cables to the pos and neg on the starter to check cables

    Kubota R530 - Center Pivot/Bearing Concern

Agree with looking while lifting the front off the ground. Up and down vs front to back wear. Looks like the pin is sliding up and down in the hole (pic 2). I’d shim it and try some different washers up on the tear drop. The pin sliding will wear the bore quick. Low hours like 5-10 a week...
