    bam ...thank you for your reply, I checked with a local salvage yard too, but the $1, 200.00 price tag for the rusted cab was insane.. I've seen a lot on youtube and well guess I'll just have to dive in and see what happens. thanks you

    the amp meter gauge in the dash was broken, waiting a new gauge . the idiot light in the dash was already installed original with tiny bulbs painted red (one says alt and the other says Gen ) using my hand held voltmeter to check the wires.

    cbait, I was just wondering... how are you doing with the restoration project? Mine is a little aggravating because trying to deal with lazy reps at case that say the part is no longer available instead of trying to locate it. Other than that meeting some very knowledgeable people with years...
