    bobcat t740 hydraulic oil

Found another product on Mag1's website, "Hydrostatic MV ISO 46" with a VI of 146 (link). Looks like a solid match, and I can buy it for $13/gal on wally world's website.

    bobcat t740 hydraulic oil

I did a bit of searching online to see people's opinions on alternative hydraulic oils for bobcat skid steers. Not too many of the conversations comment on recent machines. Curious if anyone has experience using aw46 hydraulic oil in a more modern model like my t740. I put Mag1 aw46 in my new...

Bobcat t590 drive belt tensioner sleeve install?

Dang, sounds like a job n a half! Just pulled my tensioner off my t740 and found the sleeve is banged up good. Might end up having to do this.

Grapple Bucket pops off 2013 299D

while you're going through all this trouble, inspect your wedge pins. Here's a picture of what new ones look like for my bobcat. Mine stick out about the same from the quick attach frame when they're fully retracted.

Grapple Bucket pops off 2013 299D

Should probably need more than finger pressure. It’s kinda annoying that your mechanism parts are buried in the frame of the quick attach. Might have to take the quick attach off to get a good look at the springs in there. Should be two springs, one for pretensioning the handle so it doesn’t...

Grapple Bucket pops off 2013 299D

How's the taper on your wedge pin look? Should be a nice flat slope. Yours looks pretty worn where it engages the attachment. Also check where the wedge pin hits the attachment. I just finished welding up that spot on a bucket that was missing a good 1/2" of material there from wear & tear.

zexel injection pump return fitting stripped threads

Interesting. I'll take apart my return fitting and check that that spring is good while I have it apart. After I stripped the threads on the return fitting, my stop solenoid/lever no longer works. I tried manually pulling on the stop lever to make sure it wasn't the actually solenoid. Is it...

zexel injection pump return fitting stripped threads

I’m curious and not knowledgeable about the internals of these pumps.Does the inlet and return have direct flow to one another, or is there a check valve stopping the inlet fluid from going out the return? If it’s just open between the two, how do the injector return lines have enough pressure...

    2014 T770 oil filter question

Do you guys actually replace your hydraulic breather caps on a regular basis? My manual for my t740 says every 500 hrs

zexel injection pump return fitting stripped threads

Howdy, today I accidentally yoinked on the return fitting a little too hard and stripped the threads. Got the fitting off, it's m12x1.5. Anyone foresee an issue putting a helicoil in there? Figure I'll run a vacuum as I drill and tap the hole. Is it the return fitting, so hopefully if metal...

bobcat t740 power bobtach solenoid connector loose

Howdy, I'm fixing up some things on my recently acquired 2018 t740. By the looks of it, a portion of the pump drive belt came apart and tore up the electrical harness that goes to the fuel level sender and the power bob-tach solenoids. While removing one of the solenoid connectors, I noticed it...

Bobcat t740 fuel level sensor replacement

Never mind, don't know what the service manual writers were smoking. It's easily accessible when you lift up the cab.

Bobcat t740 fuel level sensor replacement

Has anyone ever replaced the fuel level sensor on a t740? The service manual says to pull the engine and pump assembly. Surely there is a more crafty way??

deere 35g vs 50g wedge coupler ears

Would you happen to know if the 27d and 35d are the same ear shape? The jd parts website lists different part numbers for the couplers, but I don't know if that's just because the pin diameters are different, or if the ears are different too.

Looking for websites for Komatsu CK 30 service manual

Have you made an account on MyKomatsu ? It was free to set up an account. Took a couple days for the nearest dealer to approve the account. But the site lets you shop parts diagrams and see both service and operator manuals, in a dozen languages. Least that’s what’s available to me for my pc35mr2

    O-ring boss caps

I was skimming the manual for the t740 I bought and I seem to remember it saying the fittings were o-ring boss. If yall are saying the cylinders use JIC, I'll be happy as I already have loads of plugs/caps for that!

    O-ring boss caps

My eyes must be deceiving me. I don’t see any full kits of both caps and plugs for ORB on either eBay or Amazon. I searched hosewarehouse for oring boss cap and nothing comes up, so I’m guessing they don’t exist. I know jic is the same thread, but I doubt the caps will have the right chamfer to...

    O-ring boss caps

Howdy, I've recently acquired my first machine that uses ORB (a bobcat skid steer). I like to have a cap and plug kit on hand for when eventual repairs happen. All the kits I'm finding online only have ORB plugs (male thread), with no caps. Why is this? Where can I find female caps? All the...

deere 35g vs 50g wedge coupler ears

Hello, could anyone confirm whether the quick attach ears are the same on the 35g vs 50g? I've found quite a few sellers of the quick attach ears for the 50g at a cheaper price than others listed for the 35g. Planning on retrofitting some buckets to fit a 35g coupler. Thanks, John
