Engine fan gets pulled in favor of large electric fan. More room. CFM is around 6600. Probably rebuild an DT 530. I believe these are sleeved. Seem like a easier engine to work on too. Parts are less expensive. -

Trans is an Allison 3070. Meritor RF611 axles. Total load will be around 10k pounds (an RV conversion) . I'm just looking for more power to get through the mountains wherever, in the US. -

Well, I am considering everything at this point. This is why a put the idea out there. Maybe I am being unrealistic. I have the 3.07 high speed gears in the 5 ton chassis. Thought the additional HP would be helpful. They already have 330 hp in the military 3126 and I think the C7. -
