2006 Snorkel TB42 Suddenly Sounds Alarm and Will Not Start

You ever complicate the crap out of a problem only to find out it was something stupid simple to fix? After spending many hours with a volt meter and many calls to Snorkel (god guys), I found the back side of the ammeter was dirty and had a bad connection. It still delivered 12V, but not when a...

2006 Snorkel TB42 Suddenly Sounds Alarm and Will Not Start

I Parked my machine for about 1 week and suddenly have a rapid beeping sound that prevents it from turning over, as if something needs to be resolved before it can commence the start process. Ground and platform ignition react the same. Ignition feels like drained batteries, but the batteries...

    580 Super E replacement seat

It feels nice and you can sorta adjust the armrest around before tightening them. If you get a good deal on it, you can't go wrong.

    580 Super E replacement seat

Okay, Since no one asked about the lever above, I'm gonna share it anyway. To spin my Case 580 seat, I had to slam the seat back to release the spin lock. I did not like this and this is what I did about it! The new seat rails were going to get tossed, but I noticed a nice lever attached. I cut...

Where are these "jack stabilizer" backhoes?

I think the image below is what you are describing. These are called "Side shift" backhoes. As Ronsii says; made for compact areas. Imagine digging along a wall, normal outriggers would have nowhere to go.

    580 Super E replacement seat

$130 Is great! I would have done that, but I killed my "Amazon Crime" account, so I would have to add shipping. Also, I got it the same day I wanted it at TSC :-)

    580 Super E replacement seat

Thanks for the replies. I went to my local TSC and found this on sale for $145. Looked small at first, but is actually perfect. I threw in a pic for size comparison. Compared to a nice comfy bar stool, they are almost the same size...

Case 580se GLAND NUT won't budge!!!!!

The lock screw hole is 50% shared with the gland nut and the cylinder. You can see the half moons on each part in the first image. The Case manual suggest that a new gland nut (if/when you need one) does not have threads. This is because we (you and I) own the location of that lock screw. So...

Case 580se GLAND NUT won't budge!!!!!

Hi Guys, Noobie here. I know this posting is old, but still very helpful. I did my seals on an old 580 Super E. I read thru this thread and tried it all. I finally ended up with a similar method of Bertrrr's except I welded a plate on and then whacked it with a sledge a few times and it finally...
