    just an fyi ive been on a few jobsites where the safety inspector has made everyone get new hardhats because he couldn't see if there was cracks under the stickers on the hardhat!

    gotcha.. seems to be a mixed bag from people i've talked to.. some do extremely well, others barely eek out a living.. but i have noticed the ones that do well (local guys) do some serious advertising and seem to really go after the business... i have no desire to get into septic pumping...

    i know when we signed our contract with the iuoe we had to post a bond so that even if we went outta biz our guys still got their fringe benefits. idk if thats an international or local requirement but id check it out....

    hey guys, quick question, we are bidding on a project where the owner is adament on us doing the topsoiling.. they are going to do it in 7000' sections by 30' wide and 4" thick.. whats a safe number a d4 could push in a day, square yardage wise. ive never done any spreading jobs this large...

    well the stimulus turned out to be not as good as they originally said.. its only down to 40 some billion now, from the 350 billion originally stated.. its going to help but i was hoping for much more!

    I always get asked by Super's of the companies we work for "tickets" of work we performed that day. I think it would help me with invoicing when the project is complete so any extra quantities above the contract i would have a record of and someone from their company would have signed and...
