    plans for skid steer trailer

Look at the Butler line. http://www.butlertrailer.com/DisplayPage.aspx?Page=flatbedtrailers.html We have a 12k with a 14' deck. You could run your 843 all the way to the back and it would lift the ass end of your truck off the ground before you damaged the trailer.

"Are the electronics prone to fail sooner with Mack than with other manufactures or is this something that is true with all electronic trucks? My old Mack is very simple but talk about a smoky truck! My truck puts out some black smoke! New York state definitely wont want me on jobs with the...

    Looking to go from a 1989 RD690 to a 2001 RD688

It will be a good truck until something goes with the electronics. Then you will want to go back to the mechanical engine.

    my favorite truck mack dm-800

The shorter hood on the U model was a factor when states had overall length laws for truck and trailer combinations. Mack also advertised a sight advantage for passing on a two lane road because you could see futher down the road without weaving across the center line.

    my favorite truck mack dm-800

The DM800 has a longer hood and no dog house. They also used a different frame than the DM600. It is the same frame that was later used on the RD800. Every one I've ever seen was a double or triple.

    Hooklift trailers for pickups

"I wounder if an over weight box on a trailer will pull the back up the pickup off the ground. " And then it rolls away all by it self. Leaving the driver standing there with the remote control in his hand wondering how he's going to explain that one.

    Hooklift trailers for pickups

Rolloff trailers are a handjob. One time in a hundred you get to pick up a box in an open parking lot. The other 99 are places most drivers couldn't get a trailer in to let alone load a box after you get there. You have no idea how heavy a dumpster is or if it's loaded evenly when you don't...

Number 1 is a DMM600. Number 5 is a RD800. Number 8 is a DM600. The others look like DM800's. The ones with 4 headlights are probably outside the US. Nice pictures.

Felling Trailers: anyone have any pros or cons?

Looks like a nice trailer. I like how they build in the pockets for the forks. DOT requires a machine to be chained down on all four corners. Around here the check for that.

looking for a dump truck. is this one a good deal?

For the best value, find an auction of a construction company that is downsizing or going out of business. Look for a Mack that was built to be a dump truck from the begining. Next look for a mechanical engine. The newer electronic crap is expensive to repair and in most cases requires a trip...
