D6C Transmission Cooler
My 69J D6C only had the air cooler I got a cooler I think from a TS14 mounted it across the front joined the two together an it work good.No one really knew why it never had the water cooler as ones before & after had had them.It was the 3306 140 hp engine.Cheers -
Dozer destroys house
Saw it on the news tonight. A Daracon D9T stolen from a mine a few ks away relationship issues.It got stuck which allowed police to get him. -

D-4G-XL fuel problems
I used find muck got stuck in the fuel line tap at the tank.Had to pull tap out an clean it.Mine seemed to do the same drop revs on flat ground after the tank was half empty full it up it was good.Took us a while to figure out the problem changing filters, Cheers blowing fuel lines, new pump etc... -

Choice of oil for Komatsu final drives.
Interesting The forestry corp run a few 65's & 85's they had final drive problems at low hours so they ran one with 30 in one side 90 in the other. The 30 side failed early as usual the 90 side was good did the same again, same problem so 90 in the winter 140 in summer months and those machines...- willd8r

I only slot doze in good material with no or not much ripping required,eg sand top soil.If it's hard ,rocky I tend work a 20 meter strip back to front style.You can't slot doze in anything that requires a far bit of ripping cause the blade is alot wider than the rippers.You can do a bit with the... -

Smallest Deere dozer wit semi-u blade?

Overheating Problems in Australia!

1968 D4D dashboard layout
Hi Early ones never had a decelerator pedals.I could not belive why not.Then they had two one for each foot.The dash had battery isolator key , start switch may be light switch, oil pressure, water temp,and battery all good and simple. Cheers Will -
