    Thanks Tinkerer, have not tried that. And you are correct, whoever put this on got it way to tight. We have to do a lot of this stuff ourselves now, would be nice to take to professional but it is hard out here trying to make a living on the farm now days. Thanks again

    That is correct on the threads, the cannister is female and base Male, I tried tapping on it as I was applying pressure but no luck. Thanks for feedback

    I have a old 580 ck on the farm and want to replace the hydraulic filter but cannot get the cap to move, any suggestions would he greatly appreciated. Cap sits by hydraulic fill on top of reservoir. Thanks to everyone, also I have learned a lot from all the great knowledgeable people on here...

    Jcb charging problem

    One thought, if it is a automotive alternator you may have to bring up RPM'S for it to kick in, some do not kick in until 1500 RPM'S or so. Probably not problem but never hurts to try. I would probably agree with Tinkerer on it though. Good luck

    Sorry but I do not have any information on it but as far as the Titian goes i put one on one of my backhoes and it has done a great job. Quality was great for the price and it has had a workout on large rocks and stumps. Just wanted to share my experience. .

    I have a case 580ck with manual shuttle, does 80 weight oil go in rear end, I think the tran and rear end have a common link between them is that correct?
