    John Deere 350C Wide Track

If you go to jdcrawlers.com and search Jason Benesch JBW contracting he has a pretty good stock of 350 wide pad parts. Not geographically handy, he is in Edmonton Alberta Canada

What is the difference in capabilities between the 3, 4, and 5 ton mini excavators?

I have a 3.5 ton Yanmar Vio35-3 excavator that I use on 4 pieces of rural property ranging from 3 to 155 acres and separated by 400 miles so transport is an important consideration for me. I have used it to trench in about 2500 feet of waterline and in conjunction with a JD450 and a 6X14 foot...

A couple of videos of the old wheel dozer

Was a Michigan 280 rubber tire dozer in Dease Lake for many years. Local operator approached a mining exploration project that was liquidating some equipment about purchasing an engine for one of his trucks. Engine was already sold but same powerplant was used in the dozer. Mining outfit said...

Did you get the optional mulching teeth mounted on the bottom of the blade carrier? What size material are you mostly cutting?

Case 350 oil level too high after sitting

Seems like human nature sometimes to start big and difficult then work back to small and easy

Case 350 oil level too high after sitting

Hope the injection pump is your problem. Possible for a mechanical lift pump to leak fuel into the crank case as well if your machine is so equipped.

Higher capacity bucket for Kubota quick connect.

8.5 cubic foot for a 35 size machine sounds really big. Cleanup bucket on my Yanmar Vio 35(7700 lds) is 5.something cubic feet and I wouldn't want much more reached over the side with any kind of dense material

    Yanmar Vio45-5 buzzer

My Yanar Vio 35 does this on occasion but faintly. I think it is a back up horn and there is an intermittent electrical issue that causes it to come on

    Mini excavator brush grinder

Have been looking into the Rut 28 inch disc mulcher for my Yanmar Vio 35. There is a video of one running on a 27(?) size Bobcat with 12 rpm flow and it looks like it is doing OK. Also you can purchase a brush cutting head for the mulcher for a few hundred dollars that does a good job of mowing...

Komatsu PC-40-6 excavator max bucket size

My Yanmar Vio 35 (7700 lds) uses a 32 inch wide 5 cubic foot clean up bucket and slings heaped buckets of muck out of my waterhole at full reach with no issues. I would guess your machine would handle a 6 to 7 cubic foot clean up bucket.

    Split link on JD450C dozer

That looks workable. Most of the pins are dimpled like the one in the attached photo

    Split link on JD450C dozer

I need to reseal a track tension cylinder on my JD 450C dozer. It has Trek chains on it. The links are pt# 5-0087 which Trek tells me are sealed links with an alligator style split link. I am not seeing anything distinctive or different looking. I would think the split link would look obviously...

Stripping a D6H for shipping to remote alaska

Sounds like there will be a Chinook in Prince Rupert in the near future. Call up Columbia Helicopters in Oregon and see what they can do for you. Chinook lifted the first 2 D8R's into Galore. The D6H would likely go in 2-3 picks.

Stripping a D6H for shipping to remote alaska

In 2007 I worked on the Galore Creek project in NWBC. A Russian Mi26 helicopter was operating in Canada at the time on a special permit and was used on the program along with a Columbia helicopters Boeing Vertol Chinook. The Mi 26 was bringing 40,000 pound loads into camp and the Chinook 24000...

Stripping a D6H for shipping to remote alaska

Does anyone operate a Shorts Skyvan in Alaska. One was used to move a high drive hydraulic drive D6 in and out of a short rough strip on the Nahlin River NW of Dease Lake about 5 years back. The aircraft used came from Whitehorse.
