stupid question: you did check your engine oil level to see if the transfer pump wasnt filling up the crankcase with diesel? -

Warning lights and fault light with beeper works, but gauges are dead. Got a few questions before i tear into the dash panel. Are gauges and lights all 24v. or 12v. (yes its 24v. system) I have no wiring diagram for this to go by. Horn fuse is missing, does this circuit maybe provide power... -

Yup i can ck. off all those boxes for a "farm" dozer. My D4H is wore out. But it runs, just spent $2500 on injector pump overhaul. UC is about 70 gone. Waiting for winter to drop all the leaves of the overgrowth to start cleaning about 15 or so acres. No hurry no timetable...just go out and... -
Diesel seeping into oil...Injectors or pump? cat 3204
Well here's a update: checked under valve cover no obvious leak detected. Took transfer pump off had it tested...it was leaking. I thought hell yea i got this. $150 later for a new pump and 80 bux for oil change....back in business. End of story, right?....NOPE after a few hours running...yup... -
Cat D3B 3204 governor/injection pump
i just reinstalled a injector pump on my D4H 3204 engine. Before i removed it, i pinned the flywheel while also pinning the injector pump. This way when both were lined up and pinned i knew that the pre pinned(timed) rebuilt pump would be aligned when reinstalled. As far as removing the pump... -

I hear ya. Been there, doing that now. I always wanted a full-size Tonka toy to play in the growed up with trees/brush sandbox. Bought a dozer that was 3/4 wore out. Been wrenching on it since. I could had farmed out the clearing work and come out cheaper. I'm no mechanic but if i keep this... -

yes that was the first thing i checked. Ran for 30-45 sec with valve cover off visually seen no leaks. Thats when i moved to transfer/lift pump. Had it checked out and found it was leaking so i replaced it. Changed oil and used it on an off for a few hours...noticed oil level was again rising... -

3204 engine. Has exact same inject pump as in pic(swiped from net) Had lift pump leaking issues last year, changed it out only to find out still getting diesel in oil. Going to remove injector pump to have it leak tested/rebuilt...whichever is the case to stop the diesel getting into... -
743B Bobcat skidsteer
when my fluid got low (damn leak) this 743 squealed like a pig, herky jerky boom and bucket...but it still drove fine. after adding oil it took a few days to get the foamed air bubbles out of the system. However like i said...it seemed to drive fine.- PEVO

Dont know how the TD15 is, but when i was trouble shooting slippage on my Cat i was told to pull floor plate to be able to visually see the drive shaft (assuming yours has a exposed driveshaft) anyhow...puting it in gear and watching when the problem pops up to see if its the torque converter... -
New project for my D4H
it may have been in the paint on the dozer blade frame. I hit it with the grinder first but this tight area i couldnt get to. I didnt have the hind site to grind the paint and or any rust off the whole area before fitting and tack welding. Rookie wanna act like a welder mistake. -

Explain magnetic and arc blow out? because a 2-3 times i experienced weird bright ass flashes (way brighter than the normal arc) it was like someone lit a sparkler up and practically blinded me. I only noticed it in two sections and when i was building up welds for filling in shoddy gaps... -
