John Deere 690LC low hydraulic power

Serial # DW690EL536528 wondering if anyone has encountered this issue... when in PR mode and I engine mode I have so much hydraulic power I can stall engine. Which tells me my horsepower control on pump isn’t working properly because you shouldn’t be able to stall the engine. When any other...

    Link belt 2700q engine stalls

Hello! Looking for someone who has a link belt 2700q to run it in fine mode and see if the pump will stall the engine. Im having an issue and trying to see if it’s the amps going to the solenoid in the pump or something internal in the pump. The excavator I’m working on will stall the engine...

    Komatsu PC220 boom spool issue

I’ve had luck taking a 1/4” die grinder with a 1/4” rod however long you need to get in there.. cut a slit in the end of rod with cut off wheel. Fold up a piece of sand paper tight in the cut slit so it doesn’t fly off. And get in there and take some material off. Your going to have...

Name that Hyd Noise; Yanmar B50 mini excavator

If that excavator has a variable displacement piston pump in it..most do.. those reliefs shouldn’t come into play in that situation. The pump should de-stroke before the reliefs opens.

Hyundai Robex 210 lc -7 main pump case drain flow per minute

Lachian Mackie, if this excavator has two piston pumps one will do each travel circuit. You can check pump efficiency by cycle time of track rotation. Should be a spec for that in the service manual. Or to be sure have a hydraulic technician come out and flow test your pumps on the machine.

    John Deere 70D Hydraulic Pump

Hi Dmack, this is a double barrel piston pump. I have rebuilt these pumps before. If it does in fact need two rotary groups your looking at $800 per group. Along with labor and other parts. Feel free to contact me at +19046552229 we’re up in Maine.

Komatsu PC220-5 no power and stalls

If you had the komatsu test port adapter and pressure gauge you could stall some functions and see what your reliefs are set at.

Komatsu PC220-5 no power and stalls

I believe that pipe you circled is for the aux circuit? If you un capped that and you had flow that means your aux circuit is being actuated when you haven’t told it to. And as far as pulling the hose off the bucket cyl you’ll have a lot of oil in the lines but you shouldn’t have a pressured...

    Volvo bucket hydraulic coupler info

You can wire up a external switch for the quick coupler. JRB sells a really nice one that sounds an alarm when the bucket is uncoupled. All you do is take 24v from fuse panel run it to switch and out to the solenoid valve. I can send more info on the kit if you want it.

    Kawasaki k3v 112dt pump

By having someone flow test you may save some money if it’s not the pump. And then work your way downstream in the system to find the issue.

    Kawasaki k3v 112dt pump

I might first flow test the pump before deeming it bad. Other components within the system could be causing the heat load. It’s always best to do remain unless your confident in your ability to correctly do the job. If it is a worn pump you probably just need a “rotating group” which isn’t a...

    Travel speed wont change

Most common thing I’ve seen is a bad solenoid. If you have a couple solenoids down where that one is you could try swapping them to see if that’s the problem

    Travel speed wont change

I’m not familiar with that machine but normally you won’t have any power at solenoid and when you select high speed travel the computer will send 24v to it. This may be opposite but I’m not sure without seeing a manual. You might try pulling the pilot line at the hydraulic motor and t in a gauge...

Yanmar vio35-3 swing and blade weak

farmnfly the picture uffex sent looks like it’s a piston pump? Is that what you’re seeing? Did you disconnect and put your flow meter in right at the outlet of the pump or after the directional control valve? If you hooked it directly to the outlet of the piston pump you normally won’t get the...

Cat 305CR tool valve flow rate change

If I remember right. Which ever line is putting flow out I made sure to restrict it on the oil coming out of the other line. So I used “meter out flow control” not “meter in”

Cat 305CR tool valve flow rate change

Hi, I did this same thing to a 312 with a tilt bucket that was jerky. The check valve bypass needles worked great. Are your sure you have the checks going in the right direction? It sounds like they are restricting too much of the flow to the bucket.

Cat 318c excavator thumb is slow closing

I would eliminate your cylinder bypassing internally to start. It’s easy to check. I don’t know how that cylinder is mounted. But if you extended all the way and then remove your retract line. Then hit your switch and keep trying to extend it. If you are continually getting a lot of oil out of...

    Volvo EC150 LC bogging engine

Thanks uffex and funwithfuel for your help. My problem was a broken connector before the power shift valve. Come to find out thanks to the service manual, I was looking at the wrong proportional solenoid. I’m not sure what the solenoid does at the very bottom of the pic. Anyone know? I still...

    Volvo EC150 LC bogging engine

I am correct in calling the solenoid with three hoses going to it at the very bottom of the picture the power shift solenoid right? This is the one I have no MAs to.
