    Stuck loader arm, ASV RC-100

My RC100 will start with the arm in any position. Now, I can't open the door unless it's down or pretty high up. As a matter of safety I won't climb out under a raised arm unless the safety lock is in place. It's a two person operation to lock the loader up for service in the shop.

    Resurrection of a Cat

So are you big enough to take some constructive criticism when I tell you that you were part of the problem with this project and this thread? I mean really, contacting the mods because someone didn't want advice, how sensitive can you be? You really think you and the others picking on him are...

    Resurrection of a Cat

Don't see how it can be explained any other way. Not doubting what people know, just finding fault with the way they treated the OP and his project. The thing about people that truly have a lot to offer is they know when it is wanted and when it isn't. Most people think they have a lot to...

    Resurrection of a Cat

Well, just when something interesting came around the know-it-alls had to ruin it for the rest of us. Darn, guess I'll do a quick search to see if he's posting about the project somewhere else where they have some manners.

ASV RC100 tracks/undercarriage angle outward at the bottom.

Thanks for those Schematics, I'm sure I'll use them at some point. Looked over my undercarriage and the diagram at track loader parts and couldn't find the spacer plates you mentioned. It was late and I'd been logging all day so it was probably right in front of me and I just missed it.

    CTL for mowing

I've run a few different brands with mowers on them. CTL/MTL is the way to go short of a dedicated mower with steel tracks. As was mentioned watch your cooling system and keep your machine cleaned out, they burn up if the debris catches fire.

ASV RC100 tracks/undercarriage angle outward at the bottom.

It's on a job right now making me money but when I get it back to the shop I'll lift it up and look it over. Seems new suspension is about $4000 and it looks like a pretty easy swap.

ASV RC100 tracks/undercarriage angle outward at the bottom.

As the title says... Bought a used ASV RC100. I had it parked on the flat ground in front of my shop and noticed that the tracks are at a slight angle, sitting just a little wider at the bottom of the undercarriage than at the top. Is this normal? I was watching my brothers new Cat 259 CTL...
