    Based on work I've done on them and part availability, I'd go with a Gehl RT250 skid. My boss owns 3 and they are tough as nails. Until you run a fence post through the radiator. Mustang makes great skids as well though. I use a 1900r nearly daily. Very comfortable, though not tracked.

    Just knock the plug out and install heater.

    It's a water cooled engine. You should be able to install a block heater into any "freeze plug" left from manufacturer injection molding process. There will be several in various locations on the engine.
