    JCB DEAD STICK no motion

JCB 180 Robot skid steer. Boom and curl work fine, but left stick is dead, won't move forward or back. It did this the other day briefly while working where all of the sudden it would barely creep either way, then just cleared up after a minute and ran fine. Acted up again a bit later, now it's...

    Anyone know what this is?

This is like a old made up comedy bit...except for the comedy part. Here's the chain of events... I had a small leak coming from turntable, no other leaks or issues. Since hydraulic fluid cost $50 a gallon here, I thought it prudent to stop the leak. So I pulled and resealed swing motor. No more...

    Anyone know what this is?

Trying to run down a crank no start on Cat M312 (3054). This looks like it should just be a ground but the red wire is bugging me. Not hot when key on.

Swing Motor Leaking on Wheeled Excavator

Cmark, perfect information, thank you. The planetary gears with the loose bearings is what I was fretting. Separated this out in the field (literally) and bearings scattered everywhere. I bet the guy assembling these things back in the day ended up with Tourette's.

Swing Motor Leaking on Wheeled Excavator

Swing Motor Leaking on Wheeled Excavator

It seems that these gears and 208 tiny loose bearings need to come out to get to pinion shaft. This can't be right. Anyone have procedure for disassembling this unit?

Swing Motor Leaking on Wheeled Excavator

Greetings all, Anyone on here remotely familiar with wheeled excavators? Specifically Cat M series. I have an M312 that is dumping hydro fluid out through the ring gear as fast as I can put it in. I'm trying to determine if there is anything besides the swing motor leaking that could push...
