    Anyone get the new svl75-3?

Curious about the hvac. Looks like filter is mounted up high at top of cab instead of right above track where it gets dusted out instantly so you have to shake it constantly. Better air flow? I’m sure performance is great.

    Aluminum equipment trailer, 14k

Looking to get a suretrac aluminum 14k equipment trailer. Any experience with aluminum in a heavy trailer application? This thing has 12k payload.

Cats are soooo expensive compared to kubota. What’s the reason?

I’m curious. My u48-5 was like $71k, the equivalent 305 is like $90+. What is the difference? I’ve never ran a cat so curious.

Anyone heard rumors of an updated svl model coming?

I’ve talked(online) to some people at big dealers and they think its coming. Kubota usually releases new equipment next month. The svl-2 really is dated cab wise. I think kubota did a great job with the new cab on the -5 mini x’s. Its really the only reason i upgraded to u48-5.

    Proper track adjustment.

My u48 has about 18 hours on it. I drive on gravel a lot, this machine gets rocks in the tracks bad. My previous 040 didnt as bad. Plus it vibrates the cab pretty good when full steam ahead. I checked the tracks per the manual. It shows the measurement on 2 different rollers. They are not the...

    New mini. U48-5

Traded in my kx040 on the new u48. Wanted the new cab of the -5, more impressed with the track size. Its the 057 size tracks under the 040 size machine. It actually dozes. The 40 would spin tracks, this blade is taller and wider, tracks are taller/wider, it basically rolls dirt. Lol, not really...

Can you all help me compare these 2 minis..

I have a kx040 i bought last year. I do plumbing(new construction) and dig sewers/waters and farm. The kx040 is a great little machine. Kinda uncomfortable and bouncy back and forth. I kinda blame the short tracks. The cab is not sealed and I dont like that even though its not been an issue. The...

    How good are yanmars?

Selling my kx040 and it might go way sooner than i expected. Want a new 5 series kubota but there is a yanmar vio55 available. Other than youtube channels i watch like letdig18 i have no experience. I stopped a few months ago and checked out a vio50 on the lot. The hydraulics seemed good. The...

Selling my 1 year old kx040 and buckets

Thinking on selling my kx040 and getting a u55. It still has about a year of warranty, rear light, mirror package, thumb, quick attach bucket, and Bluetooth radio, and of coarse cab. Bucket is a ce heavy 24”, a 48” smooth, and one I made for graveling sewers. Its a 48” bucket from a smaller...

    Any experience with u48-5 here?

I have kx040 with 168hr on it. Its a good machine but I really like the the new 5 series cab. Been in a kx057-5, like the 57 but its about 2000lb over my trailers gvwr. Truck is a 2022 f350 so its more than capable, like 21000 pumper pull i think. Trailer is a 14900lb. The new 5 series u48...

Any experience with Volvo ew60e, wheeled excavator?

https://www.volvoce.com/united-states/en-us/products/excavators/ew60e/ Looks kinda interesting. Not familiar at all with Volvo equipment other than watching letsdig18 YouTube videos. I assume excavators with a 3 stick boom operate the same you just have adjustability on middle joint? I've seen...

Need new tracks for a 319d

One of my builders asked me to help him replace his tracks, he’s older and the machine doesn’t work too hard but the tracks are gone. Is there a go to after market source for these tracks you all would recommend?

New svl75 rear idler leaking oil?

Noticed this today. It is coming from the rear idler. It smells like motor oil. Not grease and definitely not rear end fluid. What the crap. Easy fix but a pain in the *** trip to the dealer.

So what’s the asv all about?

I’m very unfamiliar with the company. I used to think they were cats when i saw them on the jobsite. Is it a good machine? Out of curiosity what is equivalent to the svl75? And are they expensive?

Quick question, does bobcat hydraulic bucket attach keep flow on?

I took a buddy’s cylinder off to get repaired and wrapped and tied his lines up for now. He was running it today and said the rubber glove I used on line ends is blowing up. Only thing I can think is that there is a little constant pressure there to keep cylinder closed. This bobcat is a couple...

Is there any benefit to learning the iso pattern?

I’ve ran(owned)backhoes for 30 years, rented excavators through the years and ran on backhoe pattern. Now that I own a excavator is there any long term benefit to the iso pattern? I’m thinking not, but the excavator hydraulics are better than backhoe hydraulics in speed and feel. Just curious...

Kubota kx040-4 ticking on cold start up.

I changed oil at 50hr with 15w40-t-6. Would rather have used 5w-40 but kubota said not to. Anyways have about 70hr on it. When it’s cold (23f) it ticks/buzzes for a few min. Hard to pinpoint where. Here’s a vid. manual allows for 10w, but also says 15w is fine for this temp. And the word thing...

New svl75 owner, also kx040. Ctl have to be the best thing since sliced bread.

Have always used a backhoe for my plumbing work, mainly because of gravel needs. Went from a Deere to a case, and then to a smaller kubota m59. Had it for 8 years and upgraded to a new m62. Very great machines for digging and graveling lines with ease of hauling it around. Couple months ago...

Svl owners. Hydro noise that change with rpm’s.

Just getting to know my svl75. As I twist the rpm knob I get a hydro vibration sound at a certain rpm. Right off idle it peaks and then goes away. You can twist the knob back and forth and the peak seems to stay in the same spot. Best way to describe it is a lifter ticking at high rpm’s. Comes...

    Kubota svl front door lube?

Got a new svl75, the door goes up good, but it gets some resistance sometimes. Really don’t want to lube the track because of dirt buildup but it sure seems like it needs it. Any long term experience with these doors? Do you lube it with something?
