73 Miller Tilt top hubs and wheels

https://buytruckwheels.com/products/17-5x6-75-import-steel-2 I've replaced ours with these, and 235/75/17.5 tires are very close to the same height. Only place I've seen them is online, and they come over on a boat, so it took a while.

    Cat 325 vs Deere 210 P and 250 P

I'd vote for the 210. You have a 2 year old machine with 88 hours on it?

    Overload of the Day

You guys must have never slapped mirrors with one of those on a 2 lane road, it happens all the time around here.

I think you can run singles if they are rated for at least as much as the axle. Those look like heavy wheels and probably 16 ply 17.5's.

    Deere 160glc breaker problem

That's good to know, so where is the relief adjustment for the right side? My machine has the combo piping on the stick and had some big (2") flat face couplers on there to plug in an attachment. When I rented the hammer, they didn't have anything like that and said they always hook up with...

    Deere 160glc breaker problem

Turned the pressure up one turn, voila! This thing works great, temp stays down. Thanks Diesel Dave, you're the man!

    Deere 160glc breaker problem

Pump 2 delivery pressure is 13-14 Mpa @ 1/2 throttle, if I converted right is about 2000 psi. Hydraulic temp is slowly climbing, hottest we've seen is 64 C. Cools back down to 56 C pretty quickly sitting idle. Would raising the pressure help? Is this done in the monitor or is there something...

    Deere 160glc breaker problem

Yes, the extend port on the thumb cylinder goes to the left side piping. How would I look at pressures?

    Deere 160glc breaker problem

It's an NPK model gh-7, I don't know if the auxiliary is deere or aftermarket? Thumb is a Tag.

    Deere 160glc breaker problem

Our 160g has auxilliary hydraulics with a thumb, we have rented a breaker (not done this before). The breaker works good for a couple hours, then slows down and is hard to start (as in you push the button several times to get it to fire). Makes me think it's getting hot, but there is no...

Big Cam 3 Jake brake install

I talked to the shop that worked on the pump, he says stock settings for cpl 625 + 15%, with a #25 button. Also said I could change buttons if wanting more power, but should install a pyrometer with a #15. I was also wondering about turning the screw for more pre boost fuel.

Big Cam 3 Jake brake install

Did not change timing or turbo, the tag says cpl 625, everything that came out of and went back in were the correct parts for a 625. When I sent the pump off, I gave them the engine info and told them I would like it to have a little more power, when it came back, I was told it was built to...

Big Cam 3 Jake brake install

I ran the injector screws down before final adjustment as well. So we exchanged the injector, the one in question must have had a broken spring or something, the plunger sat down about 3/8" lower than the new one. Truck starts easily and no miss. Today we hooked the trailer on, loaded the 953...

Big Cam 3 Jake brake install

Yes, we checked for bent pushrods, ran the overhead as Truck Shop described, and made sure the pushrods were in their sockets. I sent the #2 injector back to Cummins, I should have another one tomorrow.

Big Cam 3 Jake brake install

Truck runs and drives but has a miss, low power, called a friend who knows more than me, he came over and tracked down a dead #2 cylinder. Hopefully one of my new injectors is the culprit. The injector rocker adjuster won't take the slack out.

Big Cam 3 Jake brake install

I got the correct crossheads and adjustment screws, put it all back together over the weekend. Turned out I couldn't get the wider crossheads out because they hit the side of the rocker boxes. Had to pull the rocker boxes off, run the overhead again, I do everything the hard way. I bet I've...

Big Cam 3 Jake brake install

They sent me some wide crossheads with the jake hardware. I went back and read my installation manual again, looks like you're right, I should have reused the crossheads and replaced the adjustment screw, and reused the locknut. I did come up with a part # for that adjustment screw/pin...

Big Cam 3 Jake brake install

Ok, I pulled a jake back off, there is a solid adjustment screw in the crosshead looks just like the one in the old non-jake crossheads. Am I right in that the one that should be there is hollow with a pin that goes through it? The pin would be longer than the hollow screw?

I don't remember a pin in the crosshead adjuster, I'll have to pull one back off and take a look
