    If you are concerned about this you could just take the power wire off from the inlet heater to the relay. Fairly easy, if you take this wire off you will prevent codes from coming up in the ECM.     Remove the engine, its easier to remove the engine than it is to remove the hydros. Just support hydros with a chain come along of some sort with the cab up. Should be able to have the engine out in a few hours

    Depends on who installed the radio. If I had to guess the original radio came with a threaded stud on the back of the radio.
