70mm pin size bucket on a 65mm Pin size Dromone grabber

So this rake gussets are a little wider, so I can put a shim on each side for that. The pin spread itself is wider. I may just buy new 65mm pin bosses and cut out the 70's

70mm pin size bucket on a 65mm Pin size Dromone grabber

Hey guys, I have a 120 JD excavator with 65mm pins. It has a Dromone hydraulic grabber. I want to get a tree stumper and rake attachment for it. I found a used one in great shape for 1/2 price of a new one. The issue is that this for a 160 size Hyundai machine with 70mm pins. My...

    D5G Track adjuster bleeder valve.

Were you able to weld up the crack with the grease still in there? My D5G did the exact same thing yesterday. Mine is the left track (while seated)

    D5G Final leaking

Update on the final drive leaking. The darn thing only leaks after I have loaded it on the truck to move it. Something about it crawling up a steep angle. I included pics of what I found the next morning after loading it up. It had not leaked a drop sitting for a couple weeks prior to...

    D5G Final leaking

I finally got the D5G home from the Cat dealer. I installed the sweeps, bits and cutting edge a couple days ago. I had a new seat pan, screens and a few missing track bolts to install, so I pulled it into my shop. The next day when I pulled the dozer out, there was a puddle of oil right...

    Dozer Transporter

It's what the Cummins dealer put on it. I told them to go as high as they could. Yeah, I had the same experience unloaded.

    D5G Track frame crack issue

Has anyone out there had any issues with their D5G track frames cracking about 2 feet behind the idler? The one I bought has one side that has cracked in the past and has been repaired and plated. Two of the burned units I have been stealing parts off of are cracked in the exact same place...

    Dozer Transporter

I would assume so. It has the HD series 6 speed allison in it. The dealer is doing the bump up.

    Dozer Transporter

Cummins said it could be turned up to 300 hp with the way the motor is configured. 60 hp is better than nothing I guess.

    Dozer Transporter

Yep, people doing the ordering who have no idea what the needs are, typical government. If I were hauling that much weight behind me - especially if I were responding to a fire - I'd want more horsepower and an engine brake.

    Dozer Transporter

Get them to spec it with a larger engine and a jake brake next go round ;)

    Dozer Transporter

It has a Cummins 8.3 L6 Its set at 240 hp. They wanted to make sure those Forestry guys didn't get any speeding tickets :) I have the local cummins guys on it already.

    Dozer Transporter

No, it was a US Forest Service Dozer transporter rig out of Florida. It has feet on the bottom of the hydraulic ramps that brace it all up when they are down. The GyroTrac they hauled was right at 27k. This D5g is about 21k.

The ramps on this hauler are hydraulic as well.
