    Looking for a nose cone for a delco 24 volt starter for a 1957 Caterpillar 955 I see videos of grinding a new one to fit but I am afraid there is not much strength left and could not end well for the starter and flywheel if It broke.

    Starter is shot on the cat d4 we just purchased No tags on it having a hard time to get any info on starters for the machine Old Magnet was a great help when I gave him the serial number =40A 456 Maybe he can come through for us agian
