ive got a 850b with bad sprockets and track links.ive got a1150b with new tracks and sprockets.the sprockets are bigger but will bolt on.ive got idlers 2.if i swapped would it work or would i need bigger rollers to accomadate the 2in rise.im sure ill have to shorten tracks just wonderin if its... -

72 580B transmission issues
most likely the shuttle tube clogged.thats common on them.it takes me a day and night to clean mine and get it back together.no special tools needed but a bad job.theres a screen on end of tube that clogs.theres an old post somewhere of how to drill and tap threw bottom of shuttle for easy...- mtnman

what do i call the piece outside rail that my idler pin holder slide on?its a 850b dozer.feel stupid askin,but im not getting no were tryin to find part not knowing what to call it.the whatchamacallit search had no results. -

i think ur right.hell its lookin like ill never get the 1150 home anyway.cant find no 1 2 move it.lookin loke im going to have 2 johnny cash it 1 part at a time.i think maybe try to find motor 4 the 1150.sell the 850.i dont have the right place and tools to do the c frame swap.that would take me... -

sorry for the late reply been busy.the 1150 has a hole in bottom of block softball size or bigger.top part of engine isnt there.they must have sold it.the c frame on the 850 is broke were the lift cylinders r all the way through.about 8 in behind that on both sides is wore almost threw from... -

is it possable to replace 850b c frame with the 1150b outside track c frame?my 850 has c frame inside the tracks and is trashed along with the blade and angle cylders.i bought 1150 with bliwed motor cheap am wanting the blade on the 850.was wonderin if this idea is possable.id hate to get in on... -

does the filter in front of radiator filter the shuttle fluid?does the shuttle fluid cool thriugh the radiator like a cars tranny?- mtnman

my hoe pulls good for about 30 min or so then starts getting slower until it wont move.i tore into it to clean torq tube and the screen was clean with a 1/4in of screen missing.i turned pump and it seems to b pumping,were do i check next?could it b screwed?i can also wene it stops pulling put...- mtnman

shuttle resevore leak
the way its made its indented.to get a bolt in it u have to turn bolt sideways.no way you could drill it without seperating it.i wish it could b done that easy.this is were the prob;em is.i wanted to use helicoil but cant rethread because of indent,thanks for reply anyway.- mtnman

shuttle resevore leak
ive got 3 stripped outbolts on bottom of shuttle case 580b.were it mounts to bell on bottom.way its made i cant rethread anything.thinking about welding nuts on outside of it,or would that b a major f-up.i dont have right equipment to seperate it.i had about a 2in space but was afraid to...- mtnman

case 850b rpm governor
thanks.yeah on my hoses i thought i knowed how they went back.had welding done on blade,didnt mark hoses.im sure about all of them execpt my angle cylinders.im thinking 1 hose connects between the 2 on bottom then the ones from dozer goes to tops.thats wrong i meant vise versa.coming from dozer...
