Which hand reamer for egg shaped hole?

I'm slowly working through the pins and bushings on my 1845c. I've got the lower arms and bucket cylinder pins/bushings done and now i'm on to the triangular plates on the boom. The plates themselves don't have bushings and are wallowed about .06. The upper arm that is pinned to the triangular...

Brush Mower Rebuild on a "Suihe, Wolverine, Cheap Made in China"

I bought this brush Mower a couple years ago for around $1200 and it's worked well for landowner type work, mostly on brush up to 3". I've now broke the blade carrier. The welds and steel have broke in a few different places - probably from hitting rocks. The blade carrier was fabbed so crappy...

Case 1845c quick attach handles won’t stay open...

Been have issues with the quick attach staying up on my 2000 Case 1845c. I just lubed it up real well and the thing just falls down enough where I can’t disconnect the attachment. It will snap down, lock and stay locked nicely as it should. Here’s a video of what is happening: In the video...

    Loose Quick Attach

My quick attach is loose with all my attachments, but I can't figure out what is worn out. I'd say there is 1/2" to 3/4" (depending on the attachment) of play between the pin and the rectangular hole in the attachment, when engaged. With all the slop I am mangling the pins and the rectangular...

Replacing Fan Belt Case 1845 C

What's the best method to replace the fan belt on this machine? Looks like I have to remove hydro lines from the pump and remove the pump to get the belt on. Unfortunately I JUST replaced the hydro oil and I hate to loose all the oil of I disconnect the lines on the pump.

Case 1845c Undercarriage Bulge and Extra Auxiliary?

I just got this machine last week and noticed a couple things, as I go over it, that have me wondering. An extra coupler was added just above the auxiliary hydraulics (see pic), so there are 3. You can see the extra mounting bracket that was welded on. What would this be for? I also noticed...

Oil & Filters From Dealer or....

I just got my first skid loader as I will be building a new home this summer. It's a 2001 Case 1845c w/ tracks, 7' bucket and forks. Is the Case dealer the best place for fluids and filters or should I be looking somewhere else? I don't mind paying a premium for premium products from the...
