    EX60 travel issues

Replaced the pressure sensor and I'm back on business. I went with an aftermarket part. Hopefully it lasts.

    Tilt bucket cylinder bushing source

As I googled different terms I came across this site. Looks to be what I'm looking for? https://asbbearings.com/collections/50-mm-id-rolled-bronze-metric-sleeves-with-diamond-indents/products/z905060

    Tilt bucket cylinder bushing source

I picked up an old SEC tilt bucket that needs some welding/pin/bushing work. The worst bushing is the rod end on the cylinder. It's not terrible but I think it'll translate into extra slop at the bucket. It appears to be some kind of Teflon coated bushing? Any idea where the best place to source...

    EX60 travel issues

Here is a picture. Looks like the same as the page Uffex posted. Thanks guys. I'll check out the sensor and go from there.

    EX60 travel issues

Dash 2. There are 2 sensors on the MCV. Do you know which one it is? I can't remember which one does what.

    EX60 travel issues

So my machine sat most of the winter and I was out using it today and noticed some things that were working just fine before aren't now. 1. Tracking the machine doesn't disengage the auto idle. 2. Travel speeds don't work Machine works just fine aside from those. The control levers disengage...

Hitachi EX 1 20–3 no power to control panel #2

I had a similar issue on my machine. One corroded wire in a connector in the armrest was all it turned out to be.

The evolving tale of our Link Belt LS4300 CII - Travel motor issue and question

Mine drops out the bottom. It's not an enjoyable job and I'm sure with the extra size of you machine it'll even be more fun.

The evolving tale of our Link Belt LS4300 CII - Travel motor issue and question

My travel motors were in good shape. It was just the rotating joint on mine. Check the case drain on all of them and I think you'll find your issue.

The evolving tale of our Link Belt LS4300 CII - Travel motor issue and question

Just to add to my post my machine tracked straight when using both pedals. The issue only reared it's head when the left tracked was used on it's own. I did check the case drain on my travel motors first, but the one that showed me what was going on was the case drain for the center joint. It...

The evolving tale of our Link Belt LS4300 CII - Travel motor issue and question

I am going to bet on center joint seals are leaking. On my machine I had good power in reverse on the left track but almost no power in forward. I had some gouges in sealing surface. Welded them up, turned it down and polished it and threw in new seals and it's like brand new. The way I checked...

    SANY EXCAVATOR

How often is this done in practice? I might lift the boom while tracking or swing our of the way but that's about it.

Groove on seal surface in center joint. Cause?

I hate when people leave threads open with no known fix so I won't be that guy. I ended up welding up that surface with 3 overlapping passes around the diameter and machining and polishing it back to spec. It works perfectly now. Not the easiest repair but it was free which is my favorite kind.

How do I install this door glass?

Thanks. I felt like I was going to tweak something pulling that hard but I will do it that way. That makes sense to me now.

How do I install this door glass?

Here is what the rubber looks like. If the rubber was removed I'd be able to drop the glass in far enough to clear the frame. There is no way to bend this fram enough. It's metal with multiple channels and doesn't budge.

How do I install this door glass?

Trying to figure out how to install new sliding glass in my EX60 door. The frame is rigid and I'm a bit at a loss. Does the rubber center need to come out and somehow be slid around it after?

Groove on seal surface in center joint. Cause?

I know the previous owner did have the travel motors out and a couple grand worth of work done to them at Portland Tractor. All the filters were clean when I replaced them when I bought it and the travel motors don't bypass at all and run smoothly so I think I'm good but that all makes sense...

Groove on seal surface in center joint. Cause?

My friend is a machinist and I've talked to him and he said he's up for it. Should be relatively easy. My curiosity remains as to what would have done this. There aren't any other moving parts in the joint. Kind of baffled.

Groove on seal surface in center joint. Cause?

It is. It runs up from the bottom and dumps out that gap. There is a seal on the rib just above the oil port on the shaft and those are the grooves that are leaking. Or at least is my assumption. I think oil is blowing through those grooves into the case drain cavity.

Groove on seal surface in center joint. Cause?

I've been having an issue with my track motors and narrowed it down to my Center joint was bypassing an excessive amount of oil through the case drain. I have put new seals in it already and I don't know how I didn't notice these grooves but I'm pretty sure they are the culprit. What would cause...
