Genie z32/24 boom lift rotator seal

Weird. A few heavy blows with a deadblow and they've always went in just fine for me. Gears and shafts inside are all in mesh properly? Looks like you took all the plugs and valve blocks off so you shouldn't be fighting air pressure.

Genie z32/24 boom lift rotator seal

Trying to put the end cap with the seal into the body? Just lube it up really good and smack the cap into place with a deadblow. I've found its much easier to put the end cap with the shaft in first. Line everything up and then drive it home with the deadblow, then thread the one in the picture...

    Arggg

We live in a time where just showing up on time for work every day puts you in the top 20% just by default.

    Any brand log trucks

Is that its load or its fuel?

    Crazy truck prices

You need to work the engine though to keep the DPF happy. Sitting in a truck stop, idling 10 hours a day is a lot different than your truck pulling its guts out on a bush road all day and then being parked and shut down all night.

    Crazy truck prices

Its not so much idle time though, its application. I did the math on one of my dad's trucks one time - it averaged a speed of about 35 km/h over its life. It also spent its life pulling 120k lbs out of the bush every day. It idled for maybe an hour a day at most.

    Crazy truck prices

I get the impression a lot of truckers think every truck is moving 65 mph down the highway all day, every day. I always encourage people to look at the hours to get the whole picture.

    Has anyone else heard this?

This is the first time I've ever heard that in my life. I have seen maybe 1 or 2 ring gears in my entire career wrenching that were damaged and they were all on gas engines in cars.

Unusual erratic noise from hydraulic pumps (Hitachi EX300)

When was the last time that strainer was checked? If its got a case drain filter pull it off and cut it open. If you've got brass and debris in there then you've got pump problems.

    Best fill material

Exactly what I'm working with. Right now it looks like just sand under there. Even on the worst rain storms it doesn't get much more than damp under there.

Order assembled chains and pads or transfer? Ec140blc

I'd swap the pads onto new rails. A motivated twosome could knock that job out in a day, day and a half.

    Return filter blocked???

If the return filter was plugged up you'd have a couple thousand PSI back pressure. You'd see the return lines jump just as bad as the supply every time you used a function. Assuming there is no filter bypass of course.

    Big dozers

A lot of folks have said they were a flop up there because they were always getting stuck in the soft ground and it was hard pulling out the biggest machine on the site. Could be BS but I've heard that story from a few different people.

    Kenworth or Mack

Model and application would really help. A T-680 KW would make a terrible dump truck vs a Granite. But a T-800 would outshine an Anthem.

    How not to do something

I think I may have worked with his son at one point.

    Kenworth or Mack

Far too broad of a question.

    How not to do something

I was told 8 years was average for my area. My tank was pretty new when I moved in, we'll see how long it goes.

    Best fill material

Out in the prairies. Don't really have any issues with water getting to the foundation, the deck does a decent job of keeping most of it away. At the worst spot I'll be building it up about 10-12 inches at most. Right now there's just fine sand under there.

    Best fill material

That I don't know. Maybe backfill wasn't the right word. From what I can tell someone laid down some topsoil for the lawn years ago but never built up the grade under the deck on the house when they did it. I'm doing some work on the deck and figured it might not be a bad idea to build up the...
