    Caterpillar 315DL Aux Hydraulics Problem

There are no active codes in the diagnostic screen. Only a logged code which is 36: 95-3. Machine functions fine just the grapple has no pressure when opening like the solenoid is stuck or something

    Caterpillar 315DL Aux Hydraulics Problem

I will see if I can do that tomorrow, do you think if a solenoid valve went bad then it would throw a code? When the machine is running and operating there are no codes or lights but possibly in the diagnostic screen there may be.

    Caterpillar 315DL Aux Hydraulics Problem

I think I am not near machine currently but that’s what was on my paperwork. The second line may have not came stock with this machine but it is all caterpillar Parts’s. Has two lines like this on each side. The larger line on one side is not flowing all the way causing the grapple to not open...

    Caterpillar 315DL Aux Hydraulics Problem

Hi, I have a 2008 Caterpillar 315DL that has aux hydraulics that we run a demoliton grapple on. It has 4 lines, two on each side of the stick. 05 Caterpillar 277B Aux Hydraulic Malfunction

Ok yea that is what I am getting for them. What else should I check? I just replaced the right joy stick a couple months ago so I think I'm ruling that out for the aux hydraulic fault

05 Caterpillar 277B Aux Hydraulic Malfunction

What resistance should the aux hydraulic solenoids have when I test them. A1 and A2?

05 Caterpillar 277B Aux Hydraulic Malfunction

Yes correct. Sadly this machine has been a nightmare. I pulled apart the aux ecu just now and there was some oil somehow in where the connector plugs into the aux ecu so I cleaned out everything and split the ecu and cleaned that out also. now it is back together and I still have the same...

05 Caterpillar 277B Aux Hydraulic Malfunction

Both couplers are seated. What solenoid activates the AF? I checked the closest one near the right joy stick under the cab and I get 1.8-2ohms testing it which I believe is good

05 Caterpillar 277B Aux Hydraulic Malfunction

Hi I have a 2005 cat 277b. Last time I used the aux hydraulics were about a month ago. I was using my grapple to move a few logs around. I just bought a new brush hog so I began to use it this morning, It worked for about 5 seconds and then stopped, I tried to go the other way on the thumb and...

    Cat 277b stuck in park

The drain holes plugged up with mud under the floor board where the ecu was so I had to vacuum out all the mud. It wasn't up very high but it was up a little higher than the base of the ecu so somehow the seal went bad on it so I split the case and saw water in it. I dried it with a compressor...

    Cat 277b stuck in park

Found the problem. I pulled apart the ecu and it was wet. the seal on it went bad so I dried it with a air compressor and then put a heat gun lightly on it. Everything functions well now. Do you think this will fix it for a while as long as it's dry or is it a temporary fix and I should I get a...

    Cat 277b stuck in park

Ok ignore. I didn't get continuity between 13 and 68. I did the whole troubleshooting guide and everything is ok with the system, does that lead to that the ecu is bad?

    Cat 277b stuck in park

I'm getting connection though when I probe pin 68 and pin 13 so it has to be chaffed somewhere

    Cat 277b stuck in park

Ok so do I proceed with the troubleshooting guide even though I get resistance when I probe pin 68 and pin 13 when I'm not supposed to?
