Removing foamed tires from skid steer rims

Hey all, been awhile When I bought my latest skid steer about 7 years ago, I installed new tires and had them foamed. They have performed very well, land clearing, demo etc. No flats. Now the tires are wore out, tread ripped off in places, foam showing through. I think I have gotten the goodie...

    NH L190 Water Pump

Hey all, I need to change out the water pump on my early 2007 New Holland L190. Has anyone here done this before? Do you have to remove the radiator and oil cooler or can you remove it from the side leaving the OC and the radiator in place? Any advice will be appreciated. Tim

    pricing a job

Three hundred dollars seems pretty cheap to fill in a backyard pool. How big was the pool? Was it an in ground pool or semi buried above ground pool? Concrete or fiberglass? did yo have to bring in any fill?

ANOTHER NEWBIE SKID STEER PURCHASE THREAD

The machine I have now is a NH L190 with a cab, Heat and AC. Down here in Texas, AC was a must for me. In the spring and fall I find myself taking the door off so I can enjoy the fresh air. The door comes off my L190 easily.

ANOTHER NEWBIE SKID STEER PURCHASE THREAD

I had an LX565 for several years. It was an excellent machine that I used in my sports lighting business. Personally, I don't think I would buy one without aux hydraulics. I wonder if that is something that could be added?

    Verycal Lift Skid Question

I knew that you got a Kabota, I was referring to your Avatar. What is that thing anyway? Look sorta like a mulcher. Sorry JS300, don't mean to hijack your thread Tim

    Verycal Lift Skid Question

JS300, I have a vertical lift machine (New Holland). I do quite a bit of hole drilling and find that I still have to move back and forth some as I lower the auger. I don't recall ever drilling with a radial lift machine so I can't compare the two. I have also used mine to drive tee posts and...

NH L190 Low transmission pressure light

Hey Gary, thanks for the response. Yes, the machine moves and all hydraulics seem to operate normally. I stopped by my dealer this morning and he said the same thing. He said that those sensors were prone to failure. I went ahead and purchased a new sensor. I am going to take the hydraulic...

Thanks for all the responses guys, The CL ad is not there anymore so I guess someone beat me to it. Still, if anyone recognizes the machine, I would appreciate it if you would let me know as I am still curious. Tim

Anybody seen one of these before?

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. Delmer, the stick clam is an interesting piece of equipment. Not sure if they are related although they do seem to be of about the same vintage. I haven't been to look at it yet as it's cold outside (yes, even here in Texas). Check, I agree, looks like a THD...

Anybody seen one of these before?

Found this old Trackhoe on Craigslist, not to far from me. The owner says it still runs and digs. He says he thinks it is a Vermeer (due to it's color) but he doesn't know what model. It has a 2 cyl Wisconsin engine on it. Does anybody have any idea what it might be? Thanks, Tim

    Newbie getting into business

rkf63k10, Greetings from Abilene, I started a part time business very similar to what you want to do. Not getting rich with it but doing ok. I am heading out here in a few minutes to drill some fence post holes for a welder that I have recently developed a business relationship with. I have...

    Bobcat advice - moving clay

I have a Rezloh edge for the dirt bucket on my NH L190. I also had one on my LX565. I normally just leave them on the bucket most of the time. It makes a lot of difference when digging in hard ground. Tim

Which type of equipment, if any?

True dat, The buying at a good price point thing is the reason I don't have a excavator yet:) Tim

Which type of equipment, if any?

Sounds to me like most everything you have to do can be done with the tractor loader backhoe. You could even take down the barn with it. I would consider renting an excavator to take the barn down. For 15K you should be able to get a decent midsize skid loader that would handle most of the other...

    Area calculator app

Here is the Daftlogic link. I use it regularly. http://www.daftlogic.com/projects-google-maps-area-calculator-tool.htm I also use a Iphone app called Planimeter. It also works very well for field work. Planimeter is available through the Apple App Store and I think it is only a few bucks. Tim
