    Bobcat snow blower

Does erskine still make the Bobcat brand skid steer snow blower? The one that I used last winter had a goofy cable system to rotate the chute. When shaking the blower to clear a clog the chute wanted to self destruct.... Does anyone make a narrow, but taller snow blower? Most of them are...

    New truck emissions/Truck specing ?s

I am helping a friend spec a new single axle flatbed 33-36k GVW 4x4 flat bed for snow plowing 14 miles of subdivision here in Colorado. I have received specs on a International 7400 and have found that Sterling (Acterra) and Mack (Granite) are offering FACTORY supported 4x4.... I don't think...

    Ratchet straps for tie down?

Nope, I won't. I used to. We went on a wreck with a skid tied down with straps (I works a firefighter) broke three straps and went into the rear of the truck. Those 10k straps are breaking strength, not rated as working load. We have found out here in the west that UV damage from the sun...

What do you think this is worth

I have seen that truck and am looking at bidding on it.... at the last minute. It will cost probably $4000 to ship it though...Almost doubling the price. just looked at the guys feedback.... not so good on some expensive items. People have bought vehicles and are not happy, plus no...

What do you think this is worth

I don't know if he would go that low. He says that they have not even had a looker. Obiviously, 13k is the max price, He paid 20k, I don't think he would go down to 9k?:spaz Which is what I guess it would be worth based on those auction results. The allison is a plus for me plowing...

What do you think this is worth

weight isn't an issue with a 23k front end, the trucks came with up to 300hp Cummins... truck is rated for 46k Tires are at 90% (according to the seller), but I have not seen them. Says no rot on cab, spreader looks good inside. What would you pay is the most important question. They...

What do you think this is worth

I believe it is a 2327. Its an allison auto, cat 3208 Which EVERYONE has said is a dog, especially in a truck like this. They have had NO luck selling it for 2 years. Here is what the guy said We are asking $17k for it but feel free to make an offer. We want to sell it this year and we are very...

Going to look at an oshkosh tommorrow??s

22" at the top of the pass is what I heard today. I can't use a truck as long as a twin screw, and it won't have the traction to do what I need it to... I also need the lower gearing that is available in the tcase of an oshkosh for banking and going hill while plowing

    Roading a loader

I call BS. The loaders around here are NEVER lowboyed. They are driven everywhere. The Street department plows over 20 miles of road with them every storm. The county dept, drives 30 miles with it before they even get to the southern end of the county.

    All wheel drive/4x4 Dumps

Steve Mclean's truck $8500, plus 2,000 for plows out here.... I would like a dump, but I could just frame mount the spreader. I would like single 22.5 tires... But I can probably talk to him about paint, fluids changed and some tire chains for the $8500...
