    just when it looks good...

...THE SKY IS FALLING, AHHHHH!!!! Just kidding, but on a serious note how many folk here started working only to be laid off again? I just worked a month or so, had to swallow my pride and drive a dump truck instead of equipment just to get working again. I got in the swing of things, picked...

    Protection

I've used Kaspersky in the past and it works great....if you know how to deal with it's eccentricities. Right now I'm using AVG free and it works great and for the price, you can't go wrong. Too funny!

    Ax Men

Well seeing as his operation looked pretty goofy to begin with (who goes out with a dead motor!) I think he can really claim ignorance. I mean heck, seeing his temper and complete lack of preparation (running out of gas) and the way he is skimming to save money it's a wonder nobody was killed...

what a lovely sound this morning

Even in a heavy residential area? Considering there was a minuscule amount of snow (the ground wasn't fully covered) and the base was ice it would seem fruitless, but I guess the idiot managers here told them to show up. Oh well.:drinkup

what a lovely sound this morning

Nope! The property maintenance guys don't do anything till 10 at the earliest, and then it's once, a little salt and screw coming back to clean up drifts.

what a lovely sound this morning

Hmm, well with the time I can see the point but they usually don't get to here until evening and the don't do salt or the walkways, just the main drive. And they do it poorly at that usually leaving the snow polished and slippery.

Well that is I WAS until the company that plows in the complex here thought that quarter to 5 in the morning was a great time to **** into the wind! We had about an eighth to quarter inch of ice yesterday, parking lot...

    Civil engineering tech?

I'd love to go for the 4 year except for 2 reasons. One is that while there are a few great engineering colleges here, SD school of mines for one they are expensive as heck. The other reason is I don't want to spend all that time in school only to find I detest engineering. My thought is that...
