    Do u have a service manual? Several things to check 1 being pilot pressure in range selector valve and if it good then it’s in the transmission manifold seals. U will have to have a gauge on the range selector valve while it’s running to watch it when it stops. I can try and send u pictures...

    New to me TD-7c

    Put a jack under it and what ever u do don’t be laying under it when u take the bolts out. May sound stupid but those things are crazy heavy of dirt is piled up in them from years of not being off. Let jack support it and let it down to ground.

    TD8G losing 2nd and 3rd gear

    I’m thinking the hook rings provide pressure to the whole transmission. If they fail all gears would slip forward and reverse. Been awhile since I worked on mine but I’m positive it doesn’t have hook rings for each range.

    Problem with TD15C Transmission

    There is a charge pump on the bottom of the transmission that puts oil pressure to clutch packs inside the transmission and they will go bad at times. I would check that first. It will cause them to not move.

    The steering pump on right side of engine can put hydraulic oil in the engine also. Main hydraulic pump in center of floor right behind dash and the steering pump are the only 2 pumps that could get oil from hydro reservoir to the crankcase. Good luck

    If it’s turning slow and this is with the engine revved up it’s a converter or pump issue. 180 degrees is not hot for converter temp.
