    Willmar Wrangler 4550 help needed

My uncle just picked up a "freshly painted" 4550 from an auction with a "NO" vin plate. I need to identify the year as there seems to be a 2005 and under, 2600, and 2007 and older parts books. Yes 3. I can tell you that it has an "oil cooled" Deutz 4 cylinder. And it has the fiberglass hood...

    Gradall 534C crowd cylinder seal

Hello, We have a Gradall 534C which has sprung a seal leak at the rear of the crowd cylinder. Can the crowd cylinder be pulled out the back with the boom on the machine, or does the boom have to come off the machine? Thanks, cb1

Brake band removal on 1961 D4

The anchor pins are stuck tight. Can the bands be removed without taking the anchor(s) out? According to the manual, remove the front bolt, leave the rear bolt attached to the anchor shaft and remove shaft with bolt and bracket. Well, after 59 years, it don't come out. We made a slide hammer...

Hough loader rear wheels tilting inward

If we decide to proceed, we will dig it out. There is a semi-trailer tight against the back and stuff on both sides, so pics will be forthcoming. Thanks for the reply. cb1

Hough loader rear wheels tilting inward

Hello all, Quick question. I searched but couldn't find it. We have a Hough 30 that we use and it works great. We also have a 50 (possible 60, I'll have to check) that ran out of engine oil and seized about 10 years ago. We acquired a root stacking rake that would fit the 50, but before we...

Looking for vintage equipment trailer picture

All, I saw a picture on the innerweb a couple years ago and have not been able to find it again or any other pictures of this style equipment trailer. The trailer had its rear duals that pivoted out of the way when you backed the trailer up and then you loaded the equipment straight from the...

Price check for 1959 to 1963 Caterpillar D4C

Ok, so I stopped and talked to the dealer and he is going to get me a price. He did say my cousin (works for him once and a while) did take it off the trailer and that they pull started it and it runs. Talked to my cousin and he said it runs good for not being run in the last three years (at...
