    Well this sucks!

If anyone is wondering why i did not at least pull out the plastic bed liner is that the box has a plate for a 5th wheel that is over the bed liner. Turns out that 23 years was just the right amount of time for stuff to accumulate in the tank and plug up all 3 screens in the tank. Truck would...

My truck decided to have some fuel issues on Christmas day when i was picking up my 5 year old son. He mentioned how his moms new boyfriend has a nice new truck and maybe i should get a new one. The method of repair shows the mood i was in after that.

    Finding qualified help

We had a great team working last year and this year. Very few are still there and the boss complains all the time about how no one wants to work anymore and everyone is lazy because after 6:30am to 5:00pm everyone wants to go home. Interesting how everyone who quit had the same reason can you...

    Help identify this engine

So we have a shaker that recently showed up at the yard and i have been tasked with keeping it feed with top soil. Today the water pump shaft decided to break off and the fan became close friends with the radiator. I can not find any markings on the engine to help identify what water pump i...

Combination diesel and def slip tank for pickup

How often do you drain out your fuel tank? Seems like every year when we pull the tanks from the truck beds there is always crap at the bottom. Do you really want to do that to your def system?

    How high can it go

I paid $93 to fill up two 5 gallon gass cans today and they felt like a deal compared to. Few weeks ago. We are at $2.00 a liter and were at $2.50 a few weeks ago.

    How high can it go

When i have a heavy day in the semi hauling loads i can drink almost 400 liters of fuel in a day. Diesel is $2.50 a liter so i can drink down almost $1000 of fuel a day. Only reason my boss has trucks is cause out jobs are hard to schedule having some one else hauling. He sure does not make any...

JD 120 general rebuild thread, bushings, pins, CWS thumb wedge QC bushings, hoses

Nothing failed it just had that much loose. We did not weld anything we over sized everything. My boss said he has spent far to many hours in a previous life welding up bores to do it to his own machines. The original was just a manual wedge quick attach and we made it hydraulic if you want i...

JD 120 general rebuild thread, bushings, pins, CWS thumb wedge QC bushings, hoses

We just rebuilt our 135d this winter doing every pin a bushing and build a hydraulic quick attach and paint. In the fall i was working in our pit and had the boom cylinder smash out the side window so the boss decided it was time. We had to lift the cab to do those bushings. My boss had a...
